Great Day At Stonebridge Photo submitted by Brian9256097 on 04/17/2018
Pretty Good Shape
I haven't played this course in 4 or 5 months because of bad conditions. Well, it is much better shape now. The greens are in great shape with very few bad spots. They rolled pretty true. Some fairways are a little sparse, but most were good. The tee boxes are in good shape. I would encourage everyone to give it a shot.
Good Round
Course is in good shape. Rough was high and very challenging. 11th green had a few small sandy repair spots but all other greens in good shape.
Huge Greens
Love the course overall! Huge greens but because ots golf you can still miss them !!! i really like the hole 4 !
Tight Layout, Poor Conditions
Overall the course layout is challenging because there is out of bounds left and right on pretty much every hole on the course with fairways only 20 yards wide on multiple holes. SLICER BEWARE: Every hole is lined with houses and golfer is responsible for damages. Course conditions were poor at best, greens super inconsistent speed and grass type, fairways may or may not have turf and varied from bermuda to zosia/st. augustine.
Thought: With so many houses on the course, why are the course conditions so poor? A membership drive for on course homeowners could really boost the $$$ brought into the club and bring conditions up to an agreeable/playable level.
Great course - greens need work
Overall great experience playing here the first time. I will be back once the greens are better. Greens had a heavy dose of sand (see pictures). Staff were VERY friendly. Gas powered carts are fast. Lots of fairway bunkers made shot selection a challenge which I liked. Very open course with space for slicers (me) to still be in play.
Good Course But Jump-ins
Had a good time on the course. However, there multiple times golfers appeared out of no where in front of us. There was also a twosome that was frequently impacting the pace of play by hitting multiple balls at various times. All that said the course staff was so nice and it was a fun course to play.
Getting better
Had a good round. Hit the ball well. Starting to see where I need to be when making contact on the ball.
Challenge
This course gives you enough challenges for you to enjoy and work on bettering your game.
Fun on MLK Jr Day
had a great time before the weather got bad. greens rolling good and consistent. overall course conditions is good, especially for this time of year. I definitely recommend it.
Great Greens
The greens were in the best shape I have ever seen them, however there is still little to no grass in the fairways.
