About
When Timberlane Golf & Recreation opened in 1959 as Timerlane Country Club, it was the first private golf club on the west bank of the Mississippi. The oaks planted at that time have beautifully matured, adding to both the scenery and difficulty of the golf course. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed the course, crafting a challenging test that has been ranked as one of the most difficult golf courses in the country. You'll have to contend with 80 strategically placed sand bunkers and 17 different water hazards. While the course is not overly punishing, you'll have to be prepared to have every aspect of your game tested. Before tackling Timberlane''s golf course you may find it helpful to warm up using the club's all-grass driving range and you can use the large putting green to practice with putting, chipping, and sand play.

Sand traps
The sand bunkers need better grooming. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

Course was nice and the greens were in great shape. The addition of Toptracer at the range is a huge plus!

Haven’t played here in a few months.
Course was in great shape and hit balls at the driving range using new gps technology that shows results on each club you hit. Really cool stuff and really nice golf carts. Will be back real soon.
Much better shape
This was my 1st time playing here in 3 months. They course is in much better shape. The greens are far from pristine, but they are very playable now. They are slow. There are a few bad spots on the greens but not bad. Fairways and tee boxes are pretty decent now also. There was almost no one on the course on Sunday at 10 am. I played in just over 2 hours. I will definitely be back.
