Soo many bare spots
Greens were okay but bumpy. Fairways have numerous no grass bare spots. Course needs some basic maintenance.
Please fix your FAIRWAYS
Right up front - these fairways are in POOR condition. With all the rain we've had this winter, how is it even possible your fairways are bare dirt?
Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. It was Easter Sunday and lots of open tee times, yet it was backed up so bad, it took me 5 1/2 hours to complete
The good -
Challenging course, well designed for a municipal course.
Staff was EXCELLENT. 2 Ambassadors of the course, Richard, and Jeff very helpful! Snackbar staff very friendly.
Please fix those fairways and backups so I can want to come back
Sunny Chula Vista Ca
It was a lot of fun playing a new course. The reason I rank speed of play lower, there was a tournament in front of us, we caught up with them on the 5th hole and we waited every hole after that. But it was a beautiful day. Had great players with us. And the refreshment cart made frequent stops AND VETS got free beer.
Decent
Good for the money, pace of play is good, but there are a lot of dry patches on the fairway and around the greens.
Getting better, but…….
Tees & greens nice. Fairways filing in.
Pace if play was absolutely horrible. 2:55 front nine, is all you need to know.. woukd have given 0 stars if I could have.
Run away
This course is nowhere close to a golf course. Might as well call it a park with the horrible conditions. Please don’t play here please.
disappointing
If you dont live in the area dont play this dog track. Poor fairways,dirt in the bunkers, and a need to just maintain a good golf course. Very slow play. All in all a waste of money and a long drive from San Diego.

Fairways need soil conditioning and reseeding.
Great facility in good location.
With fairways repaired 5 star facility.
This Course Was Great
This was a nice course very forgiving fairways and lots of troll lll opportunities to make a great shot. I’ve recently been looking through reviews before going to a course as anyone would and I’d like to add that the greens were clean and the tee boxes were pretty good. No complaints. All thought would have been cool if the staff hooked it up with a cart during the raining and windy day. Just a little extra goes a long way!
Great course I have played it for 22 years friendly staff with Johnny and gave in Pro shop. Greens are spectacular.
Weather conditions, newest, tough, rainy, windy, hail, greens are fast and spectacular, which is the key to a good golf course Johnny and Gabe in the pro shop or super cool guys Chula Vista is a very competitive golf course. Love it.
