Visiting from out of town
We were visiting from out of town, and found Cottonwood on GN. The only positives for the course were the quality of the greens and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, the tee boxes, fairways, sand traps, and driving range are in rough shape. Save your money and go somewhere else unless they put some money into fixing this course back up.
Seems it used to be nice back in the day
This course seemed like it used to be really nice back in the day. Ran into a lot of dirt patches on more than half of the fairways and about a third of the tee boxes needed a lot of work (really torn up). Driving range, I really wouldn’t even call it that, was in shambles. The bright spot was the greens were great, the staff that checked me in and the cart girl were very very nice and pleasant. Food was good with great deals. Pace of play was ok, 4 ½ hour round with groups in front of us. Awesome staff just wish the grounds folks shared the same enthusiasm.
Your average muni course
Decent but not great, greens were decent fairways were hard and bumpy in spots. My wife and I were travelling through the area back to the high desert thought we’d try somewhere new. Food and drinks at the bar were good staff was friendly

Always a good time
I enjoy playing at Cottonwood. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The drink specials are always good and very reasonably priced. The course is in really good shape and the layout is challenging for my skill level. Pace of play is typically a 4 to 4 and half hour round. Usually very little waiting. All in all a great place to play golf and always a good time. Food menu and prices are also very good, and the quality is great.

Fun Course. Slow Play…
Had a good time at Cottonwood GC. Course was in good shape and the greens were nice. However, without a Marshall on course, the pace of play was terrible. 18 holes in 5:15. Fun course, just wish they’d monitor pace of play.
