Thought the course would have changed at least a little bit. Played there almost a month ago and you said you were making changes for the better. The fairways felt like playing on hardwood.
Brutal
I have never seen a course in worse condition. Fairways were a mess... I should have taken pictures. Green fee included cart and lunch, and still ended up being a ripoff. To make matters worse, cart went dead on hole 15... prolonging a round I wanted to just end.
Staff was friendly, and burger was good.
Difficult Time
Its a nice course and I truly enjoy playing there, just a little dry right now

Not playable
Save your time and money. Showed up early to hit balls and they were all out of range balls. Took 3 hours to play the front 9 and we left. Long shrubs throughout the entire “fairway” and might as well use a sand wedge on the greens. Solid layout but recommend just going to the beach instead.
Ouch
This course is not worth the money or time... the greens need a lot of work and I mean a lot of work they have weeds growing on them that they smashed down and they have chunks missing out of the green on most holes I think maybe 4 or 5 actually had playable greens.... also the fair ways need a lot of work and some spots are flooded and others are rock hard

Chula Vista evening round
Pace of play here is so slow. I caught up to a group of 3 on the back nine who were taking pictures and videos with no regard for players behind them. The cart Marshall drove by them at least 3 times and didn’t say a word. Absolutely infuriating. The group behind me quit after 15 because it was taking so long and starting to get dark. You owe it to ALL of your patrons to actually Marshall this crap.
$13 super twilight is the only reason I may come back.
This course is trashed
I have played this course before but it has really gone down hill. The greens have to be the worse in town. You have to putt through missing chunks of grass and dirt. The fairways are not maintained at all. I think I hit out of a pit every time. To top it all off the groundskeeper decided to turn the sprinklers on in the middle of the round. I don’t think I will be coming back.
Top spot
This is a great place to play golf. I'm looking forward to trying the 19th hole next time. The par fives really made it fun.

Pretty Good Outing............
Teed it up at 1:30, played in a 4some, played it straight cept for 13, pace was surprisingly good this day, course was all together, #3 was fixed but #10 was a par 3?? didn't get that....overall a really nice experience at chula vista this time out...........

You get what you pay for...
Cheap rates but horrible fairways and patchy greens.

Never Again
This course is an average layout in terrible condition. Tees are shredded, fairways are full of bare spots and little grass. The worst are the greens, they are very, very slow and very bumpy. They have some fungus or something that is eating them up so there are holes and bare spots on the greens.
Let us first start by apologizing for the poor experience you had during your visit. Your feedback about the course is important to us. We have projects ongoing to recover the fairways and greens. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve.
Mini Put-Put has better greens
I’m a novice golfer, however this was the worst condition of a course that I have ever seen. Not sure if it’s a management thing or just product or the environment. Not coming back...

Chela Vista GC
I’ve always enjoyed the layout of this course, and the price is very fair. Pace of play is extremely slow. Course conditions are average. But, again, green fees are very reasonable and it’s a fun track. This is also a course where the weekend duffer won’t feel out of place.
