Affordable course with decent conditions
My overall experience at oceanside golf course was pleasant. The course was in alright condition. There's a lot of gravel around the sides of the rough which is a little untasteful and the rough is anything but consistent..the greens were also recently punched so they played rather slow. Overall the course has a nice layout that makes it fun and challenging.
Over Charges
I paid online for 18 holes with a cart. I had to pay an additional cart fee at the club house because I wanted to ride on my own cart instead of being paired up with a random person. Had to pay twice for my own cart. Staff overcharges for no reason. Go as a pair or don’t go at all. Very disappointed.
Great course!
Oceanside is a diamond! A hidden gem. Each time I play this course it gets better. The greens are fast and staff is awesome and down to earth. They make you feel welcomed like family. I took my friend to play with me last Sunday and he was amazed at how challenging the course can be. He also said he will most definitely return. Oceanside is awesome, other people are nice there too, no stuck up, my crap don’t stink attitudes, just hard working folks looking to play a great round.
FUn COurse
This is a very fun course to play a relaxed round of golf.
Good Greens
As has been the case for the 30+ years I have been coming here, the greens are in very good shape: medium fast and very true. The fairways are typically in marginal shape, so my wife and I allow ourselves to improve our lies, but still overall a decent golf value for the buck.
Overcharge
When checking in, I was told to make reservations @the course website, 20% cheaper. That would make it a better value for playing in a cow pasture, though it would be close.
Nice round at Oceanside
Challenging course. The greens were quick and in very good condition. Enjoyed the round and would definitely play there again. Thanks.
Good for public gold but overpriced at 50$
Little bit messed up from rain. The fairways we're 20-30$ territory not 50$. Fun round anyway. Some jerk hit down on us because we had a slow group in front but other than that was pleasant.
Nice layout, friendly and helpful staff
Nice layout, I liked the greens, good condition and not the easiest to read. I enjoyed the round but all the fairways are bare in places and in need of watering.
Poor pace of play.
Course was just n poor shape greens were good, play was slow, Marshall did a poor job keeping pace of play moving, even after a complaint.
Greens are small but in great shape. They roll true!
Not bad for the price !!!
Played as a threesome last Saturday. Was greeted by friendly staff who got us right as a walk-on as we even had time to warm up on range before teeing off. The course was in pretty good shape especially the greens. Would play there again for sure.
