Flags
Whoever is running this golf course, does not know what they’re doing. There’s no way to know the location of the flags on the greens. If there is a pin placement sheet, it was not offered. There are red flags all over the greens front middle and back, they are not color-coded and from 150 yards out I can’t tell where the flag is and neither can anyone else. Never in my life have I seen such lack of organization.
Where’s all the grass gone?
Been playing this course for 50 years and have to say “Where’s all the grass gone”? The lush grass fairways and the heavy rough were the draw for making the drive from Phoenix. We hope to see the green beauty that we remember and the excellent atmosphere of PGC.

As the winter season leaves us and spring starts to show up the course is greening up nicely. The Greens are in good shape and getting better. You'll get a nice rollout on your putt (as long as proper contact is made) but make sure you have read the green properly. Fairways are greening nicely and easy to hit from.
You need to book a tee time and play a nice course.
Finally
It was finally nice to get my iron shots to stick on the Green's. Not just one but everyone I hit . Green's were in great shape . Fast and tricky. The rollout is fast so make sure your putting swing is in time.
Fairways are great to hit off. It's still winter season so don't be worried about the fairways and green color.
This time next week it will start to green-up and play even better.
Book around and go and enjoy.

Conditions
Last time was very overgrown, and many bare / dead spots in fairways. *** Problem corrected!
Course in great shape for January. Will play again.

Great course, friendly staff, good pace of play. I played with my son while visiting Sedona, had a great time. I usually don’t play golf courses built within a subdivision but this course had plenty of room on either side of the fairways to accommodate players learning the game. will definitely come here again.
Great winter golf
Winter presents challenges to course maintenance but this mild spell is letting the staff do lots of work and it shows. Course is in really good shape right now so take advantage!
Things are really improved
Course is now in really good shape. Still needs bunker work and that is happening. The new head Pro is a huge improvement and he is a gem.
Great time of the year to play here !
