Great Greens at Prescott
This course is in great shape for the time of year, the greens are rolling great. Great value and very challenging but fair course
No water
Could not find any water on the course, was told later there was one fountain. It was this way last summer during the heat, not OK. Had a 1250 time and the snack bar was closed as we made the turn course is generally too expensive to play on a regular basis. This Golfer only played it because of a $45 rate, normally it’s 80, too high to not have water or cart, person. Got there almost an hour early and was told we were on the tea in a few minutes. Not OK.
Great layout
Little room off tee and good shape, par3 s are long.
Best course Played this year!!!
I have played 5 courses in the Sedona/Prescott area this year. Prescott Golf Club is the "Best"!!
Flags
Whoever is running this golf course, does not know what they’re doing. There’s no way to know the location of the flags on the greens. If there is a pin placement sheet, it was not offered. There are red flags all over the greens front middle and back, they are not color-coded and from 150 yards out I can’t tell where the flag is and neither can anyone else. Never in my life have I seen such lack of organization.
Where’s all the grass gone?
Been playing this course for 50 years and have to say “Where’s all the grass gone”? The lush grass fairways and the heavy rough were the draw for making the drive from Phoenix. We hope to see the green beauty that we remember and the excellent atmosphere of PGC.

As the winter season leaves us and spring starts to show up the course is greening up nicely. The Greens are in good shape and getting better. You'll get a nice rollout on your putt (as long as proper contact is made) but make sure you have read the green properly. Fairways are greening nicely and easy to hit from.
You need to book a tee time and play a nice course.
Finally
It was finally nice to get my iron shots to stick on the Green's. Not just one but everyone I hit . Green's were in great shape . Fast and tricky. The rollout is fast so make sure your putting swing is in time.
Fairways are great to hit off. It's still winter season so don't be worried about the fairways and green color.
This time next week it will start to green-up and play even better.
Book around and go and enjoy.
