I last played this course about a month ago and couldn't believe how far the quality of the course has fallen since then. Many of the fairways are burnt, sparse, and dying -- they were lush and in great shape just a month ago. When I enquired as to what happened I was told a new grounds crew had taken over and they've had issues with the watering. Some of the greens were also patchy as well. Great course if they fix the recent issues -- very surprising.

Been playing this course for 3 years. In the last 2 months have seen the fairways cracked and dying due to loss of irrigation. Too bad course used to be in really good shape

Course was in great shape 2 months ago. Now some of the fairways are almost unplayable due to dead grass, dirt and cracks everywhere. Lots of browned out areas and 90% of the bunkers are hard dirt and rocks.

The cooler on my cart was full of divot mix and no carts were available when I arrived.

I’m really shocked at what’s happened here.

Lots of dry patches on fairway. Other areas overwatered and like standing in a bog. Rough is very rough and could use some trimming. Cart paths inconsistent, with potholes and loose gravel, nonexistent in many places. Glad we used their carts, and not personal ones.

Course layout is good. Greens are good, but somewhat inconsistent.

All in all, an “okay” experience., and cheaper than some others

We only played the front nine due to an issue that happened the previous night.

The staff was super friendly and the front nine was in good condition.

Played it to escape the heat in PHX, it is a joke at $123 for a morning time. Rough isn’t cut, no water on the course, dirt patches in the fairway. Place looks like it is going downhill quick! Antelope Hills is in better shape and half the price….

Pro shop staff very friendly. Pace of play was good, as we went off in the afternoon. Course in good shape, some spotty dry spots in some fairways, but tee boxes & greens excellent shape. Very enjoyable round.

Aside from the slow Sunday afternoon pace I enjoyed this new find very much. Course was in nice shape except for the bunkers which are not nice. Staff were terrific and they had live music at the driving range from 5-7:30 with drinks. Some gal earlier complained that the score card was WRONG, made a big deal out of it. She wasn’t smart enough to realize that they started her on the back nine same as they did my group. I’m playing here again as soon as I can!

The course is in decent condition. Some hard/dead spots on the fairways but not on every hole. Greens are in good shape. Off-course amenities are in wonderful condition.

The only thing to look out for, when golfing later in the day, is the folks who decide it’s a good idea to walk their dog on the course. Or, better yet, let their small children run through the fairways while there are obviously still people golfing. Most recognized they were holding us up but some just went about their business.

I will definitely go back but I will try to golf earlier in the day to not be interrupted by folks walking in the evening.

Great course if you like to hit long drives. The course is laid out very well.

We started on what is said to be whole one, I went to record our scores and the scorecard is wrong. What kind of course is this? We drove all the way from Phoenix and we had to redo all of our scores, I guess that’s what we get for a course like this, At least the weather was nice

The management of this course has taken a hard stance on driving the cart to your car. The lot is wide open and seems to be congestion free. I literally drove maybe 10 feet onto the lot to turn the cart around. Got yelled at.

I asked what the problem was and got the stock answer. "The Insurance Company won't allow it." Hmmmm, time to get a new insurance company. A great majority of courses allow carts in the lot. Watch out for the cart police here.

Came up from Phoenix to escape the heat, and it was a good price. But, went to grab water and they said $1 for a cup!!! What a joke, the management must be hurting. Plus, they didn’t offer water on the course with 100+ degree temps. What a joke plus a water fountain was pulled off the course!
