Great Escape from the AZ Heat
Absolutely beautiful course. Apparently, locals don't like the heat in July, but compared to the 115 degree weather in the Phx Valley, I'll take 90° weather with light breeze all day long at 2pm to play a 3 hour round of golf.
Staff was rude
Checking into the shop a man with gray and a New York accent greeted us. He was in the middle of yelling at an employee in the proshop, which was not a good start. Then he was very short with us…not the best impression. Golf was okay and nothing special. The weather was the only plus for us that day. Beware of no one knowing what they are doing…
Pretty course not much shade
This was a pretty course and long especially with no water available for drinking on the course. Outside coolers are not allowed and we saw the beverage cart only once during the 18 hole round. Was a warm day with no ice available so be sure to bring lots of your own cold water. With the rate I got through Golf Now it was very affordable and they even gave us a complimentary bucket of range balls. Staff was very nice.

This is and has always been one of my Very Favorite Golf courses!!! Excellent condition year round, less it snows.... Teresa is Pro Shop was outstanding ☺️
Beautiful course with a classic design
Oak Creek is a fabulous golf course. Every hole is different and unique and a surprising, traditional style course layout, which is surprising for Arizona.
Everything was immaculate. The greens were a little bit slow, but other than that everything was in perfect condition.
One of the best public courses in Prescott
Course is always in great shape, greens included. No issues with the pace of play. This is probably my favorite public course in Prescott area!
Great game, perfect day
They was beautiful, very low wind, which is strange for Preskett Valley Dewey area. Course well kept on the front nine. At least the back nine needs a trim..
Avoid the bunkers
Greens and fairways are in great shape. However, little attention has been given to the bunkers. Very inconsistent. A simple daily raking would make a huge difference.
Good course
Rough has gotten thicker, not very organized on starting, greens challenging, overall good experience.
