About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Sloooooow play
Course was great! Play was super slow! Group behind us left after 13 holes it was that slow. Marshall didn't do anything to speed up pace. We almost left as well. Very irritating!
Excellent Course
Have played here annually for a few years on our annual golf trip to southern Arizona. The course has always been in great condition and the staff excellent. We will continue to keep this on our places to play on our southern golf trip.
Pleasure to Play SI
Nice day, great course conditions with signs of seasonal change of grasses. Sand in bunkers somewhat inconsistent.
Lovely golf day
Thoroughly enjoyed the round of golf. Love the golf gps on carts now. Wish it wasn’t so expensive to play at San Ignacio.

Great course and good people. Only bad mark is the bunker rakes need replaced. Handles leave splinters in your hands so don't hit it in the bunkers!! LOL
Bunkers
Bunkers could be a little more sandy. Felt like hitting of hard pan.
Slow Greens
Course in pretty good shape but the greens were really slow. A normal putt does not roll out at all but comes to an abrupt halt. Hard to judge proper stroke and speed.
First time at golf course and restaurant
Golf course was very nice some bare spots.
But very pretty course.
Made a reservation to eat outside on the patio, which was very nice however there was only one waitress for the patio and she was very busy because of the patio being very full of customers. She was very pleasant and was doing her best.
She could’ve certainly used another waitress to help her.
The food was great along with the views
Best course in the valley
I'd join here if I lived here. SI has excellent staff who work hard and are very nice to deal with. I really appreciate the effort in everyday improvements. The course is well attended to. The effort in clearing waste areas is much appreciated. I like the greens and practice area. Natural grass on the range are a blessing. Keep up the good work.
Always my favorite course in Green Valley. It was an excellent condition and although the green fees have risen, it is a wonderful place to play golf well worth the price.
