Thorntree Country Club

Great course, super affordable on Golf Now!! It was a cold morning but not too cold to enjoy the play without being rushed by someone behind us. Very nice pro shop with cute golf clothes as well!! Will definitely play here again.

Enjoyed a leisurely game as a foursome (slotted by the club). Challenging layout and some of the longest holes I've played. Reasonably maintained greens and fairways. Not much sogginess due to overnight rain. Very peaceful surroundings, away from the noise of the city. Will definitely play again. Carts can be equipped with GPS for the first-time player, luckily the people i played with were very familiar with the layout and the bunkers and hazards. Could have been more challenging otherwise.

I have played here multiple times over the past 3 years, and have always enjoyed the round. However, over the past 2-3 rounds it has become obvious that the summer heat, the flash flooding that effects the creeks that run through the property, and the lack of maintenance have now taken their toll. The tee boxes show heavy use, the fairways have minimum grass coverage, there are multiple dirt sections of the playable areas, there are signs of erosion on most sloped areas, and the bunkers were so damaged, most were unplayable. This is a shame, as Thorntree has the bones to be a great course. The staff is always friendly, but what they have to work with has slipped to a point were Thorntree will no longer be a course that I will play.

Challenging course. Hole placements made the greens challenging. A few patches in the fairways were sub standard but forgivable due the dry season. Well worth the buck. Pace of play was below average , but players courteous and let our group play through. Good experience. Thanks

This is the most challenging coarse I have ever played. It was an awesome experiences. I played from the White tees. If you do not hit the ball 270 or more, I would not play from the tips. There is one whole that is a 598 yards par 5. There are trees all over the place. If you hit left or right, you might be doing some tree management. LOL I found this out, yes, the hard way. LOL The greens will roll good and true. How ever, if hitting down hill, the will roll and roll. Watch your speed. If you like a challenge, you will fall in love with this coarse. The Staff, Really friendly. And do what they can to be helpful. I hope you play golf because it is a challenge. If so, This will be your test every time you play it. I will be back.

Fairways were pretty patchy as were some tee boxes but the greens were phenomenal. Rolled true and fast

I’ve played course on several occasions but only with discounts. Would recommend highly but on with discount. . I think rates are over priced and there’s no seniors discount. Would be in my rotation if it honored seniors & military.
