Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club - Ghost Creek Course
About
Located 25 minutes west of downtown Portland, Oregon, Pumpkin Ridge blends in with the natural beauty of the farmland.
The Ghost Creek Course is a golfer's dream; four sets of tees on each hole to challenge every golfer; continuous cart paths for convenience and ease of play; architecture in the "old style" leaving the land completely natural; vistas of the Cascades, Coast Range and Tualatin Hills, together with the farmland of the Tualatin Valley, create the ultimate aesthetic experience.
In addition, the Ghost Creek facility has it's own clubhouse, practice range and golf shop, nationally recognized teaching professionals, and is a full service golf outing facility.

The course has been sanded
Very nice, but just recently sanded. I'm sure they are preparing for a tournament in early August, I just didn't know. Otherwise, one of the best around.
I got a review request while still on the 16th...
An amazing course. But I played on a weekend and the title is all you need to know ....
Pumpkin Ridge Ghost Creek
My favorite course in Portland-Metro area. The course was in great condition, even with a couple of heavy showers that moved through. I had to slip on the rain jacket twice, but not for the entire hole I was on. The greens had just been spiked, but putted perfectly. The golf carts were clean and very nice to have individual carts in our foursome. Highly recommended.
Another great time at Ghost Creek
Course condition was excellent.
Rough was a bit unpredictable at times, which was challenging.
Bunkers were a bit chunky (only found 2).
Staff was friendly.
CARTs were in excellent condition.
Driving range turf was quite spongy.
Chipping area was excellent.
Putting practice green was excellent.
Another great experience at Ghost Creek, looking forward to the next round on Tuesday!
Ghost Creek Golf @ Pumpkin Ridge
Best value for the money with that TeeOff discounted tee-time. Great landscape views and challenging greens make Ghost Creek my favorite in the Portland Metro area.
Another enjoyable round
Another enjoyable round at Ghost Creek.
Course was in great shape, from tee box to green. Found the rough a few times, but fortunately it was also in good condition. Found the sand once, it was in better shape than many places visited recently (with lack of people cleaning up after themselves due to removal of rakes). Pace of play was good, despite tee times being booked nearly solid for the holiday. CARTs were well cleaned. Staff was friendly, as they have been each visit. Practice area was very busy, but also in good condition considering how many people were using the range - practice green and chipping area were perfect. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work, looking forward to coming back this Friday!
Outstanding Course!
What a beautiful course! First time playing since I'm from out of town. Somewhat challenging if you play from the blue tees. Greens are AWESOME and well taken care of! I can't wait to play it again!
Best public course in Portland
Par 71 with true greens and challenging holes. Some landing areas have more divots than I would like but the same is true for all public courses in town.
First round here
It was my first round here, and while the weather was pretty awful - the course and staff were the complete opposite.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially considering it was a first round visit here for all of our group. They were inviting, pointing out amenity locations and a few helpful tips for the course. They were caring, during this COVID time they insisted that we use separate carts (which some other places will charge you to do even in these times).
The course was in very good condition, especially considering it had been raining for a few days prior to our visit and was chucking it down with rain at the start of our round, thru the 6th hole. Bunkers were well maintained, and area of play was clearly marked. Greens were in terrific condition, with surprising speed for the most part.
Looking forward to another round here, hopefully with better weather! Thank you to the staff at Ghost Creek!
Highly recommend
I think the most picturesque course in the PDX area. Fast tough greens made good scores a challenge. Nice staff,. If you don't have Satnav, or gizmo, the yardage guidance is a bit scarce. There were no apparent 50 yd posts when I was there, which would greatly help a first timer to the course. Even if you are a cheapo golfer, you need to play this course - well kept and challenging.
nice course
It’s a wonderful course.
Perfect fairway nice layout.
Fast green.
Overall, one of the best course.
Need to police pace of play
The pace of play today was absolutely horrible. I’ve played Portland Muni’s in less time than it took to play today.
Ok
The course was very wet in spots, my ball plugged a few times. Now the great news, it was really terrific to get out and golf! Cart path only and it was crowded for the back 9. No booze available on site. The holes were set up blocker, the traps usually in stellar condition, not at all because of the virus, but heck, your golfing!! Get out and get over it and have some fun!
One of the top golf courses in Oregon
Such a fun day getting outside on this beautiful Spring day to play Ghost Creek Golf club. The staff took extraordinary measures to make sure everything was Covid-19 compliant which help ease our anxiety. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
I expected a little more, to be honest. Still a little soggy which is to be expected. The greens were quick with some decent breaks but nothing to write home about. Not impressed with the overall ambiance. It’s definitely not worth what they charge for the summer rate. Still had a great time with great friends.
GolfNow didn’t come through
Prepaid GolfNow reservation either didn’t sync up as it should have with the course’s system, or they (the course) just didn’t see it. Either way, I showed up and they didn’t have my tee time showing (just a single) and were going to make me pay their walk up rate and then encourage me to follow up with GolfNow for a refund. Course itself was great, and in decent shape (still pinched fairways). Greens were fast and true. 18still captured 3 balls into the water.
