Need to police pace of play

The pace of play today was absolutely horrible. I’ve played Portland Muni’s in less time than it took to play today.

Ok

The course was very wet in spots, my ball plugged a few times. Now the great news, it was really terrific to get out and golf! Cart path only and it was crowded for the back 9. No booze available on site. The holes were set up blocker, the traps usually in stellar condition, not at all because of the virus, but heck, your golfing!! Get out and get over it and have some fun!

One of the top golf courses in Oregon

Such a fun day getting outside on this beautiful Spring day to play Ghost Creek Golf club. The staff took extraordinary measures to make sure everything was Covid-19 compliant which help ease our anxiety. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I expected a little more, to be honest. Still a little soggy which is to be expected. The greens were quick with some decent breaks but nothing to write home about. Not impressed with the overall ambiance. It’s definitely not worth what they charge for the summer rate. Still had a great time with great friends.

GolfNow didn’t come through

Prepaid GolfNow reservation either didn’t sync up as it should have with the course’s system, or they (the course) just didn’t see it. Either way, I showed up and they didn’t have my tee time showing (just a single) and were going to make me pay their walk up rate and then encourage me to follow up with GolfNow for a refund. Course itself was great, and in decent shape (still pinched fairways). Greens were fast and true. 18still captured 3 balls into the water.

Pumkin Ridge Ghost Creek enjoyable

The course was in great shape even after a very wet September, the bunkers were raked well and well taken care of. The Greens rolled beautifully. There were a lot of players that day, but even with a frost delay, we got out close to on time, so good management by the staff. We played the round right at 4 hours. A great day, on a challenging, but fair course.

Good, but maybe pricey

Great design and the course is always in good shape but it kinda bugs me to pay near $100 to play. The best deal you can get there is about $75 and for me there are way better values around Portland.

Great Course But Not at Full Fare

When the conditions are good, Ghost Creek is a joy to play. Challenging, but fair. The greens were outstanding today, but the rest of the course was softer than I would have expected. Especially considering how dry the last month has been. In comparison to other courses in the area, the drainage at Ghost Creek is poor. As the winter rolls on, the course becomes a slog and you'll lose a lot of balls in the mud. Even in the summer, the full green fee is a lot higher than other/comparable courses in the region. I only play here in tournaments or when I can get a deal.

There is only one other course in the Portland area that drains better than Ghost and thats Langdon Farms. In season though, no other course compares to Ghost Creek. The only gol courses that hold up are a couple privates ones in the area and the nice course in Bend.

Beautiful and well maintained course. Greens were very quick which I like. Fair challenge but far from easy. Pro shop and lounge were just decent but I came for the golf. Would definitely recommend especially if the price is $120 or less.

Horrible experience

Came to play a bucket list golf course and it was ruined. Pace of play was ok on the front and then it all came to a standstill. Seems as though a group of members (fivesome) decided to jump out on the back nine in front of a few groups. They had four holes open in front of them. The clubhouse was called by several people and no one did anything about it. Played the last hole in the dark. What a horrible finish to a round. Talked to the staff afterwards, seemed to not care at all.

Very Disappointed!
