Located 25 minutes west of downtown Portland, Oregon, Pumpkin Ridge blends in with the natural beauty of the farmland.
The Ghost Creek Course is a golfer's dream; four sets of tees on each hole to challenge every golfer; continuous cart paths for convenience and ease of play; architecture in the "old style" leaving the land completely natural; vistas of the Cascades, Coast Range and Tualatin Hills, together with the farmland of the Tualatin Valley, create the ultimate aesthetic experience.
In addition, the Ghost Creek facility has it's own clubhouse, practice range and golf shop, nationally recognized teaching professionals, and is a full service golf outing facility.

How much does it cost to staff the bag drop?
I arrived on a Saturday, mid-morning, to find the bag drop was not staffed. As a first time visitor I had no idea where to go once I got out of my car. I saw a guy on his smoke break and asked for directions. He was nice enough but he was the only staff and he was in my eye line by happenstance. A couple signs in front and near the cart area giving guidance to where the pro shop and other facilities are would have been helpful.
Also, for the money I paid, I expect the bag drop to be staffed, on the weekends at least.

Course was in country club condition, Great greens, but not real fast. Good layout, aesthetically pleasing!
Great Course
Very challenging and well maintained course.Fast greens and fast pace of play A+ in my opinion
Pro shop staff
First the gentleman behind the counter was not very friendly.
Second had to ask for range balls once I walked to the range only to find out, I should have received them in the pro shop. Normal sop should be no one walks away from that counter without a bag of range balls.
Third time I had to return to the pro shop to ask for a pin sheet.
Fourth the pin sheet says nothing, just section off, no indication of what number the pin is set on, or I guess the pro shop failed to tell me that information.
For the amount being charged the pro shop could do a lot better and the pin sheet could have some information on it. Like + - yard from edge and center of green instead of just green section off
Great track, great day
Conditions were excellent, staff was fantastic. One note - I REALLY like the fact that I could walk (push cart) and the pace was 4 hours even on a Sunday afternoon. There's not much to say other than I'd play again next week if I didn't live on the opposite side of the country :)

Beautiful layout
A beautiful, traditional layout and in excellent condition. I live in Pinehurst, NC and Pinehurst has nothing over Pumpkin Ridge. Loved it!

1st time playing had a great experience was paired up with really friendly helpful golfer, great experience
Beautiful
Great weather, firm grounds. Fast greens, excellent overall condition. My only disappointment was, the pro shop didn't tell me until after I paid for a court, that it was path only. I would have walked it.
