Painfully slow
This is a fun and challenging course. It is a shorter course, and so, attracts a less experienced crowd. For this reason, the pace of play is commensurate with many amateurs who are just learning the game and don’t have any awareness of pace of play. The course does.not send out rangers and so you just wait - and wait, and wait. Not many bunkers, but some double as lakes…Can’t say enough about the friendliness of pro shop staff. All in all, if you aren’t in a hurry and waiting doesn’t destroy your momentum, and rhythm, by all means, come out to this course.
Has potential.
Layout is fair. Course maintenance fair, Cart paths horrible. One of the tee boxes on a par 5 is a hard mat that is very difficult to put a tee in.

Fun Course!
Fun course where front 9 is more wide open and back 9 is more wooded with tight fairways. Need to play position shots because of dog legs or swamps/ponds/marsh. Greens roll nice. Will play there again!

Won’t be going back
Course was completely different on each side. The front was reasonably open and in somewhat decent condition. Definitely way too many spots that would be considered ground under repair. The back nine was way worse and the fact you have to hit off of a mate on a par 5 blows my mind. The pace of play was ridiculously slow and the ranger did absolutely nothing to speed up the play. The back nine took over 3 hours when it really wasn’t all that busy. I would not recommend paying what they are charging unless you get a decent deal to go out there. I hope that they fix the issues for the future but until then I won’t be going back.

Price Conflict!
The Links at Whitmore Lake is an Outstanding course. As for Golf Now I "assumed" by using this booking app and paying in advance it would be the lowest price available. HOWEVER I invited two other senior players and they paid three dollars less. I'm a senior so I will have to research this.
