About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Havens on a Sunday afternoon
My partner and I teed off at 12:30. There was nobody after us. The course is in excellent shape and the greens were consistent. You are rarely out of bounds on this course unless you put it in the water. This isn't always an fun course.

worth the drive
reasonable price so worth the drive. fairways and greens were very slow though.

slow greens
Greens were extremely slow and somewhat inconsistent. It made putting very difficult.

Meh
Course was ok. The pro shop was old and a little dirty, but ok. The golf carts are a bit beat up, but ok. The staff was very friendly, Bev cart was employee was amazingly friendly.

Day at the Haven
Tee to green was excellent, greens good shape, amenities only fair, very noisy, the course is fair not difficult, straight away hole not really dog leggy or a target golf course. Practice area needs work but not unusual as the teeing area was worn thin with a good putting green
