About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Tee Off member
When I arrived @ 8.25 AM and checked in I was told I would be called at 8:55 my tee time. Need less to say a single golfer went out at 8:30 and no one else till our tee time. I was told that because we went through TeeOff we couldn't go off any earlier. I don't feel we should be penalized because we didn't spend the extra 3 or 4 dollars. and book with the golf course. You would think that as long as there was no one else before us, get us out to make room for the walk on players.

Keeps Getting Better
This Golf Course is getting Better and better. Today I saw so many "Worker Bees' doing everything to keep the course in Super Shape....and it shows! The Greens may not be a "10" Stimpmeter but they are Perfect in Condition! and roll equally & Consistently. Great Job Haven Personnel!

Fun course!
Pretty forgiving course, in nice shape for the start of the summer. The greens were pretty slow but in great shape. I will play here again.

Good condition except Greens
The course was in good shape except for the greens. They were excidently slow and bumpy. I think they where plugged and sanded recently and the grass had been let grow. The greens should be greeat in a week or two.

RUDE
The lady at desk was very rude. Although no other golfers were on the the tee she insisted we couldn’t start until our set tee time?? I would think you would want to get the golfers on the course to make room for others. Blamed it on Golf Now?? I didn’t see a Golf Now rep there dictating the pace of play!! Probably won’t return.

June golf
For being June course was in decent shape. Played 18 in about 3.5 hours. Very relaxed. Seen beverage cart 3 times. Was a good outing.
