About

The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Overall conditions of course are too dry

Greens and fairways are still trying to fill in with bermuda but many spots are not being watered sufficiently.

Greens are still rolling well, though. Overall the conditions are lesser than what is the norm here ... Hopefully they will improve with better care, otherwise the course could be in for a long Summer.

Course is in terrible shape, I have played here a few times before and have never seen it this bad. Greens are terrible, fairways are dry and bare and the pace of play on the back 9 was awful. Took us almost an hour to just play 17 and 18. I know it is a cheaper course but still not worth the $60.

Viewpoint overview

First time that I have ever seen the course so dry. Tite dry lies, greens wouldn't hold. It is a nice track though. Hoping to play it again soon..

Viewpoint is a nice summertime course

Had a fun day playing Viewpoint in the sun. Thae course was pretty wide open and the round took about 3.5 hours.

Conditions were decent, the greens were very good. The price was great too.

Transition from winter rye overseed to summer Bermuda grass

Played in less than 3 hours . You get a lot of roll as the course is letting the winter rye die out and the tiff grass is just starting to grow. . Greens are very fast and true.

Has some wear

The fairways and greens are dry. Many of the tee boxes were in bad shape.... deep and large holes on a couple of them. Not as nice as it used to be and the cost for 18 holes- $99 or more- is way too spendy for this course even for winter play.
