Four Peaks Course at Sunland Springs Village
About
Like many other golf courses in the Phoenix area, Sunland Springs Village is a desert style golf course. But unlike many other desert courses, this golf course has grass extending from the tees all the way to the greens. This executive course also features wide fairways with forgiving landing areas and large, undulating greens. There are water hazards and sand bunkers placed strategically throughout the course. The par-4 second hole is the signature hole, requiring a difficult shot over water. In addition to the golf course, Sunland Springs Village is also home to a golf school and practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

New to the game
We are new to the game of golf and new to AZ. This course offers 3 9-hole courses. We played the San Tan course. We are in our early/mid 40’s and had our 19-year-old visiting us. The 3 of us were the youngest at the course that morning but that didn’t bother anyone. The staff was friendly. The other golfers were friendly. It was a great experience! It was cart-path only bc AZ had gotten so much rain the day before — however, it didn’t bother us and didn’t feel like it lengthen the game at all. We will definitely play this course again!
Staggeringly slow pace
Not a ranger to be seen as it took 2 1/2 hours to play the front 9 at a basically par 3 golf course. The course was in immaculate shape but having 3 groups waiting at each tee box was awful. This is a retirement community ego building, straight, short course.only a handful of Sand traps, straight shots and few trees. Very pretty setting. Full service bar/ restaurant
Friendly
The course was in good shape and the staff was very helpful. We had a fun time.
Love this course. Wet in spots but that was due to the storm 2 days before. Only downfall, I only see the beverage cart once per round: would like to see it at least once on each 9 . Definitely will play this again.
Soooooooo slow
We played the superstition 9 in 2 hours and 20 minutes. 3 or more groups on the tee box . There was a 6 ball on the course
Played San Tan as our back 9. We played the first 3 holiest in 35 minutes and then an into the same problem . Multiple groups on the same tee. We drive in after 3 holes in the back nine.
The pro shop didn’t really care. He said that Friday is a busy day and they do try and hurry people along!!!
It would have been over 5 hours for an executive course which is really quite ridiculous
Beware golfers.
Good course
Course was in good condition. Pace of play was a bit slow. It was quite a warm day but did not see the beverage cart at all on the 1st 9 so picked up drinks and snacks at the club house. Saw the cart early on the back 9 and at the 17th hole.....kind of late.
Course was in very good shape. We were paired with Dale who was very friendly. could not have asked for a better day.
