Four Peaks Course at Sunland Springs Village
About
Like many other golf courses in the Phoenix area, Sunland Springs Village is a desert style golf course. But unlike many other desert courses, this golf course has grass extending from the tees all the way to the greens. This executive course also features wide fairways with forgiving landing areas and large, undulating greens. There are water hazards and sand bunkers placed strategically throughout the course. The par-4 second hole is the signature hole, requiring a difficult shot over water. In addition to the golf course, Sunland Springs Village is also home to a golf school and practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Golfer Reviews
A fine short course
First time playing this short (4,500 yd/par 63) course. Played 4 Peaks/Superstition 9s when I played. Played with members who were friendly and helpful in navigating the course. Conditions were quite good after a full winter season of play. My only (mild) complaint: the greens were quite slow for my taste. Not overly challenging for some golfers. However, the 27-hole layout is appropriately set in a 55+ community and I am a super senior so the course was perfect for my age and current skill level. All in all, a very nice course that I will certainly play again.
The condition of this course has been very good all season.
Sunland 4 peaks
Nice course, well maintained, greens and fairways in good shape Friendly staff. Will definitely play course again
Maintenance issues
Fairways are in good shape but rough and sand traps are hard pan.
Local Guy
I like Sunland Springs. The staff is always very friendly. I usually go with my buddy and this is a good value for some new retirees that are trying to get serious about golf, but still on a budget. Great local community of golfers. The course is clean, well groomed, not too challenging, not too stressful. I am going to highly recommend it just on the fact that it is always a very pleasant and relaxing experience.
Another note: They don't overload the course. Sure they have their quotas, but you can tell that they're not overbooking tee times and then dealing with it when everyone arrives. Good customer service practice.
