Fountain of the Sun Country Club

Easy course. Greens were in amazing shape. Fairways were well kept. Tee boxes weren't the best. Staff was really friendly compared to other retirement community courses I've played at. I definitely would recommend this course for an cheap, quick and easy round.

i booked a 10:00am round of 18 with a cart . the carts were dirty and did not have coolers .I have seen cleaner restrooms in a truck stop.the pace of play was very slow due to over booking and a lot of beginners .

there were no course marshals.

Course was fine however the ranger was a pain. Constantly driving up to us was very disruptive to play. We stopped at the club house after 13 holes, because we had started in a shotgun, to have a beverage. We had barely sat down and the ranger approach us very rudely and demanded us back out on the course. We finished our drink and headed out only to find our cart was missing and so was our clubs. The ranger had taken my clubs and the cart and and my partners rented clubs and locked it up so we were essentially robbed out of our last 5 holes, and whats worse is I had two of my own clubs in the rented bag, because wedges were not included. I would not suggest this course not only because of the rude staff but it's lay out is confusing. I have never been treated this way on any golf course any where in the world I've played.

Ryan offered a rain check for the mix up last week. I feel that this should have happened the day of the issue, but better late than never. Played the 12:30 shotgun and had a great time. Fun course.

Advertised as a shotgun start with a lunch or breakfast included. No shotgun start or meal. We were told that we had to be off the course in 2 1/2 hours which forced us to rush trough the 18 holes. Complained to the clubhouse after our round, and was told that it was a Golf Now error.

First time playing this course and knew in advance we had a shotgun tee time. We arrived late due to taking a wrong turn but the staff were very empathetic and helpful. Paired with a very friendly and courteous couple who were familiar with the course. Well groomed and maintained course which lived up to it's four star rating. Will definitely play there again and will recommend to others.

You can tell this course was designed by Red Lawrence after you have putted the greens, they have very interesting undulations and require hitting the ball to the correct part of the green in order to have a makeable putt. Great executive course design, I would definitely play it again.

Typical executive course. Pace of play was great and course is well maintained.

I'm not an avid golfer, but for a fun day at the course for a good price, this hit the mark. The only issue I have with this course is the signage could be improved as there a few areas where it is not very clear (i.e. 3 way fork in the cart path) which direction to head to the next tee box. Again, noting that I am not an avid golfer so perhaps those of you in that category could sniff out the right direction better than me.

Your typical AZ golf course community course. Winding through homes on both sides, no elevation, but narrow and challenging. Not a grip-it-and-rip-it course, your aim will need to be "on" for this one.

Afternoon shotgun start on a cool windy day. We were walking started on 18. Played with 2 riders in less than 3 hours course in decent shape greens were slow but they have always been slow when I have played there. Nice day until we finished 17 and decided to hit one last shot on 18 as we walked in. The marshal saw this and scolded the group like we were stealing golf. So decent golf course don't pay more than 25.00 as much better and more friendly options and don't let the marshal see you hit a mulligan or an extra shot on a hole!
