Executive, tight, greens very good.
Don't have to hit it long, but straight. Flat but well trapped. Greens run true. Course is well taken care of. Limited practice area.
Stay alert or be humbled
Came here to play a quick easy round but it didn’t work out like I had planned. The course was in beautiful shape with green, wide fairways. The greens were elevated and smaller than expected making them a good challenge. Greens were firm and quick making putting exciting. Most holes are short but a premium on placement is key. Par 4’s needed some planning to scores well. Pace was slow but steady. After the round, you’ll sit and try to figure out why this course left you drained and several strokes higher than you wanted. Worth the trip to play here
Fountain
I totally love this course it’s layout and difficulty are excellent for a bogie golfer
Wow!! Great layout.
Please don’t judge this course by the yardage alone. It is a very nice layout and greens, though a tad slow, were constant throughout all holes. At 4,000 yds not the longest but for seniors and higher handicappers quite a challenge. Staff was super, and with Golf Now an affordable course to play. You must make shots and would suggest using a urethane covered ball and go pin seeking. Great gig!!
Shhhb
Almost don’t want to write a good review, because this is such a cool hidden little course. In great shape - I don’t want the secret to get out. A good mix of hole layouts for a short course. Every part is awesome
Fun course
It is a great course to play on. The fairways and greens are well maintained and has some good features. Only down side of course is the size. As it's in the middle of town there is only about 3 holes you can really pull the driver out on. So a lot of par 3s with a few par 4s.
But for the money it cost and being in a decent location it is a good course.
Nice executive course
The course is in good condition ... if you stay in the fairway. The rough is either wet and long or dry and grassless. Greens are in good shape and challenging.
Shhh don’t tell anyone
This course is a hidden gem. Challenging enough to be interesting, but short enough to make a round go quick.
Friendly Staff
Great Proshop staff, Sunday morning is very busy but we played in 3 hours which is great.
The course is in very good condition, however don't let Par rating discourage you from playing, the greens are large with tons of undulations, which can make you give up on a par sometimes if your putt is not perfect.
I would recommend that you play this great gem! Bmer
TERRIBLE COURSE -WASTE Of MONEY
The greens were extremely slow. The layout was bad. You had to drive through a lot of traffic to get through the neighborhood.
We were informed prior to arriving the fee was $40 per round. When we arrived,we were told the fee was $60. On a great day, thiscourse would never be worth $60. The man in the pro shop had a terrible attitude and customer service. We would never recommend this course or golf it again. We wouldn't even hold it if it was free. The greens are horrendous!
Fairways and Food
Courses in great condition I normally like the food there but today we didn't get to try it you guys had a buffet on Sunday but they did tell us Monday through Saturday is not buffet the course was great
Great Short Course
I have a grandfather that lives in the community so I have had the pleasure of playing this course numerous times on different visits throughout the past few years. Each and every time I visit there are some strong consistencies, 1) the course is always in fantastic shape, 2) the staff is always very friendly, 3) pace of play is always really good. I look forward to every time I get to play. Beware, there are plenty of holes where accuracy of the tee is crucial.
First time but will return
This course is within 5 miles of my house but I never thought about playing here. Went today and was very pleasantly surprised. It is a nice executive course but distances are hardy and a lovely neighborhood
Executive GEM!
Booked this course on a referral and I was not disappointed. It lived up to the rave review I was provided. Excellent course conditions! Greens were pristine! Only myself and another single in front of me. We eventually joined up and had a GREAT day of golf! Excellent place to tune in your irons on the par 3 as well as hone in the pitching and putting. A few holes where you can unleash the big gun too. Maybe the best Executive course I've played.
In great shape
The new grass has come in nicely. Fairways and tees are in great shape. Greens are a little "fuzzy" and slow, but overall a nice day!
No cart person
In Cafe or golf shop
Water or soda....
We play it for the course layout, good staff, and course...but the water fountains weren't working on course......but you can tell it's time for over seeding...
Well kept!
This course is one of the nicest "short" courses in the East Valley. It's almost always in great condition and the greens run very true. Having two par 5 holes adds to it's appeal. It's great to play 18 holes in under 4 hours when you have other plans for the afternoon.

Hello Ryan-Fountain Hills Golf Course,
My review was posted Nov 25, 2019. It took you until Jan 21st, 2020 to respond. Your delay in responding and the manner you responded reinforces everything I posted.
Thanks for your comments, to clear a couple things up you played 2 weeks after we open from overseeding so the greens will be slower just like any other course in our area. Also you were quoted the correct rate, but i'm guessing by your kind words above you brought in a buy one get one coupon which is off the rack rate of $60 (says on the coupon) which is a savings of 10 bucks each, not $60 a player. Please make sure that you know what your talking about before leaving a POOR comment, if you can find a course in the east valley that is $30 for 18 hole of golf, cart and tax in the good condition as ours, please play there. If you have any questions please contact Ryan at FOSCC. Thanks
