Royal Palms Golf Course

About
Located in the city of Mesa, the Royal Palms golf course is a nine-holer with a risk-and-reward style layout. Royal Palms offers a mix of par 3s and par 4s that is suitable for all skill levels of golfer. Although it is a short course, there are challenges to keep golfers on their toes. Two lakes form water hazards that come into play on over half of the holes. Royal Palms G.C. also has strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the entire design that can affect shots.

This course is in terrible condition
Would not play this course again or recommend it to anyone
Not like the pictures
The price was different on the App then when I went in person to pay. They do military discounts but I didn’t receive one. The green and course were basically dirt and very very dry grass.
I would not pay any money to play this course
To call this a golf course is false advertising. It’s a grass and dirt charmless lot; sad and disappointing. I paid under $4 on Golf Now with a discount and feel that was over paying.
Not Well Kept
The course was not well kept at all with the greens being full of dirt and so bumpy
just a par 3 along power lines
Went early at 9 and they weren't open, looked like it was closed but turned out they were just opening at 10am(?) The lady working there was fine. The course is just a straight line down along high voltage power lines and then back, actually hit one of the lines once. Would not go back.
Course was in horrible shape
I have been golfing at Royal palms for the last 30 years. The course is in as bad as shape as I have ever seen it. There is no fairways and the greens are horrendous...
After 30 years that was probably the last time I will play this course. I do not recommend especially for $37 in the heat for a quick par 30
Wonderful
This was such a nice little course! It was perfect for a short game, but challenging enough to still be interesting. I would highly recommend it to a friend and I would definitely play it again if I found myself back in Arizona.
Executive course, amazing and friendly staff. Poor conditon
Pro shop staff is the friendliest I have seen. The course is an executive 9 holes. Neat little practice area. This is a nice place for new golfers and family.
But there is nothing royal about this course. It is not in good condition in fact one of the greens basically has no more grass.
Yet, I somehow enjoyed it a lot. It was great to play irons only - good practice and the pace of play was good.
This is an honest review.
Bad shape
Greens were in horrible shape, very little actual grass. Fairways were in need of watering.
