Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Excellent course. Beautiful views. Well maintained. Challenging greens. Before leaving the club house I spoke with the cart girl and told her we would like some refreshments and sandwiches while on the course. After the first tee we did not see her again until the 17th green....too late for refreshments or a sandwich. We never saw her at any other point on the course. Otherwise, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We absolutely enjoyed the experience and will certainly return many times in the future

A traditional style golf course not your typical desert course with lots of trees very lush, rough and smooth fast greens .

The course was in excellent condition from Greene and the greens are fast.

Travel from Mesa, and has never let me down. Perfect weather made for another excellent day! Clug house peeps are excellent! All around peeps are excellent! Course was in great shape. Postcard View Tough Course

The layout is a great challenge to every type of golfer. The choice of tee box will increase the difficulty level and experience for each golfer. Please choose accordingly. These greens are small and hard to hold. You have a ton of elevated greens as well. The rough is up high so you have to choose the right club off the tee? The greens roll faster on the practice green so don't rely on it too much. The bunkers are hard crusted on the top. Good luck figuring out what type of shot to use and which club is best.
