Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Beautiful, peaceful place.

Greens were in great shape, however three putt greens. There is a secret which a member shared with me. Very helpful but I'm not sharing. Fairways a little rough in spots. Everyone should play here at least one time. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great Golf Course, Wonderful staff and condition

We visit from Tucson several times a year. We ALWAYS plan to play Oakcreek. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the course is in magnificent condition. Fairways firm, greens very fast and interesting.

Heather is the head pro and does a wonderful job!

This course is beautiful!!

This was the first time playing Oakcreek CC. I did play mid week and that morning was rainy. I was able to tee off on time but did have about 45 min weather delay after 7 holes. I was able to finish my round before the rains came back. Let me say that the back 9 has some of the most amazing views I have ever played. The course was in spectacular condition, as evident by my photo. I cant wait to come and play this course again!!!

Great Course

I've played Oakcreek Country Club several times. This is a great course. The greens were a little slow this time, but there were punched a few weeks ago. They have a knock out BLTA (BLT w/ Avocado), but the waitress could have been a bit more interested and friendly in serving us. This is my only knock on the course. Actually the cook was more interested. He had to tell here we were ready to order.
