About
Deer Valley Golf Course offers a challenging game that will test golfers of all skill levels. The course has a beautiful rolling terrain with over 800 palm trees sprinkled throughout, providing a nice landscape but they can also affect shots since they border nearly all of the greens on the golf course. There are also sand bunkers that guard some of the greens, which are large, undulating, and oftentimes difficult to read. In addition, five of the greens are double-tiered. Ten ponds are situated on the course, coming into play on five holes. There are also some dogleg fairways to add to the difficulty at Deer Valley.

Change the pins
Played this course twice last week. 4 days in between rounds but the pins were in the same spots. This caused a lot of traffic around the hole thus affecting putts. Fairways, greens, and bunkers great shape. Also greens have already been punched and recovered.
Best for the money west valley
Great course but it can get really backed up at times.

I would gladly play this course each week. Well maintained and the staff was helpful and friendly. Snack bar was OK.
Weather Didn't Tarnish Round
First time playing Deer Valley. I now know why there's such a high demand to play there. Thanks to Golf Pass I was able to play at a very reasonable price. Greens were large and smooth, fairways extremely wide and just enough water/sand/palms to provide some challenge.
Great course but one very cranky worker!
This is a great course in great condition. Sadly however, no one told us that you shouldn’t go across the underpass before you are called to do so. We were 4 minutes to our tee time, so we crossed over to be ready to go on time. All of a sudden a man came roaring over in his golf cart, all encased in a plastic cover, and he literally yelled at us for coming across before being called, telling us how we screwed everything up! There were people just about to tee off in front of us, who were also yelled at by this man, who didn’t even have the decency to get out of his cart to speak to anyone or to find out our side of the issue. He then just roared off, mumbling to himself. No one at the clubhouse said anything about these rules, so we had no way of knowing! It was a little shocking. That person shouldn’t be in this business.
Deer valley
Great conditions, perfect fairways and greens and nice bunkers. Got told we were playing to slow after finishing 9 in 2:45 while walking lol. Overall great course besides the few staff members we interacted with.

A very good community track
Great shape, interesting holes and an easy walk. Greens a shade slow but consistent
Great course
Conditions were very good. Don’t recall any bad areas, but I did pull out of the desert a time or two based on my own incompetence. Really liked the layout, but not challenger an advanced golfer. Pace was a hint slow on the front both with my group and others, but players knew when they were holdup things and would pick up. Back pace was great with some golfers quitting after 9.
Wish this course were closer so I could enjoy it more.
