About
Trail Ridge Golf Course offers a good game on a truly desert landscape. Built on mostly flat terrain, the course can be walked but there are some holes that are quite hilly. Ponds situated throughout the golf course create water hazards that come into play on six holes. There are some elevated tees and greens as well as strategically placed sand bunkers to add further challenges. Four sets of tee boxes ensure that golfers of all skill levels and abilities will enjoy the course. The Trail Ridge Golf Course facility also features practice facilities including a putting green and chipping area and there is also a fully stocked pro shop.

Happy “Trails”
Trail Ridge is always well maintained, and today was no exception! The fairways were green and plush and the greens ran true. Sun City West courses are among some of the best maintained courses despite the summers heat. Definitely worth the cost of admission since there’s virtually no one to slow you down or speed you up due to the snowbirds summer departure. Simply a fun day of golf!⛳️🏌🏿♂️🤗
A favorite - Normally
I very much like playing at this course - normally. This time, there were some staff shortfalls - driving my lower rating. After checking in, I was not informed of starting on the 10th hole. I was advised that I would play with 3 other players. However, after arriving on the 10th hole to start, no one else showed up, and 10 min later, the group behind me told me that the starter advised them that I would play alone. Later, I had not seen a Marshall on the course for 14 holes, and I had to sit at the tee box for 10-15 min for the final 8 holes. Later, on the back 9, we even had 3 groups on 1 tee box. Hopefully, this was a one-off.
Good shape and super fast pace
Played as a 2 on Sunday never had anyone in front or behind.
Overall a decent course, worth playing
greens a lil thin, but rolled fairly, fairways a lil hard, lil thin on the lies...challenging shots, 2 par 3's over 200+...not a big "gas cart" fan, but that the way it goes.
Great course
One of the longest walking course in the Sun City circuit. Love the layout and great condition year-round, from the ground keepers to front desk always a pleasant experience, I talk to everyone.
Nice Track…
Nice course, Green in all the right places. The greens rolled pretty pure. However, you didn’t get much action on the greens from approach shots. I have to mention that they charge $16 per rider for carts. Scored a hot deal otherwise a little pricey. Fun time.
Good conditions & fast greens. For the value you can’t beat Sun City West courses. Nice amenities & friendly staff. Sun City could definitely learn a thing or two from SCW on how to maximize the golfing experience
