Trail Ridge Golf Course at Sun City West

Not many people are choosing to play golf these days so I played at my pace and finished in 2 1/2 Hours.

Trail Ridge is always well maintained, and today was no exception! The fairways were green and plush and the greens ran true. Sun City West courses are among some of the best maintained courses despite the summers heat. Definitely worth the cost of admission since there’s virtually no one to slow you down or speed you up due to the snowbirds summer departure. Simply a fun day of golf!⛳️🏌🏿‍♂️🤗

I very much like playing at this course - normally. This time, there were some staff shortfalls - driving my lower rating. After checking in, I was not informed of starting on the 10th hole. I was advised that I would play with 3 other players. However, after arriving on the 10th hole to start, no one else showed up, and 10 min later, the group behind me told me that the starter advised them that I would play alone. Later, I had not seen a Marshall on the course for 14 holes, and I had to sit at the tee box for 10-15 min for the final 8 holes. Later, on the back 9, we even had 3 groups on 1 tee box. Hopefully, this was a one-off.

Played as a 2 on Sunday never had anyone in front or behind.

greens a lil thin, but rolled fairly, fairways a lil hard, lil thin on the lies...challenging shots, 2 par 3's over 200+...not a big "gas cart" fan, but that the way it goes.

One of the longest walking course in the Sun City circuit. Love the layout and great condition year-round, from the ground keepers to front desk always a pleasant experience, I talk to everyone.
