Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Serious Decline

Course was in the worst possible condition. Over the last few years I’ve played here numerous times and have never been as disappointed with the conditions of the course. Not surprised that we were the only tee time all day. “Fairways” resembled a goat track. “Greens” appeared to have been struck by lightning. “Tee Boxes” were thicker than PGA rough. Won’t be returning anytime soon. Shame what a once pristine course has become.

Fantastic Course

I’m traveling from Nashville and played this course a few hours after landing in the morning. Manager at the pro shop is incredibly nice and very helpful with information about the course. Throughout the course many of the holes are very scenic and it was both fun and casual, but can be challenging at times too. Love the back 9 where you hit over water on 8 out of 9 holes. I recommend playing here 100%.

Fun par 3

There's only so much you can do with hole layout on a par 3 course, but with bunker placement and challenging greens this makes an excellent course to work on your short game. I've played this course a few times and it is always in great condition.
