Golfer Reviews
Great affordable Vegas course
Course was in great shape. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and engaging. Pace of play was 4.25 hours despite the feeling that it wasn’t crowded but the Marshal was making his rounds. Greens were a tad inconsistent, some faster than others. But all-in-all I thoroughly enjoyed the course and will certainly be back.
Fun
Have played this course a few times, but last time likely 7 years ago. Fairways and rough were very nice and almost lush. Fun and offers options because it's a shorter course.
Excellent golf while visiting Las Vegas
I had a great experience playing this course, which is about a 30-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip—close enough for convenience, but far enough to feel relaxed and away from the chaos.
The course itself is an 18-hole layout just under 6,000 yards, offering a moderate level of play that’s enjoyable without being overly punishing. It has a solid mix of par 3s, 4s, and 5s, keeping things interesting throughout the round. The layout includes water hazards, sand traps, and enough variation to make you think through your shots rather than just swinging away.
Condition-wise, the course is well kept. Fairways and greens were in good shape, which made the round even more enjoyable.
The staff stood out—they were very accommodating, especially since I was visiting from out of town with my own clubs. They handled my belongings safely while I got settled in, which made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming.
There’s also a decent clubhouse where you can grab a drink before or after your round, which is always a plus.
Another big advantage is accessibility—you don’t need a local resident to book a tee time, and the pricing is reasonable compared to many Vegas-area courses.
Overall, I spent about three and a half hours on the course and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a solid, well-maintained course near Vegas that offers good value and a relaxed experience, this is definitely worth checking out.
LOS PRADOS
excellent value, great course. greens recently aerated
Super nice course
What a great course. Well planned and fun to play!
Really nice conditions amongst a beautiful community.
Always on out play lust when we come to Vegas.
Los Prados a Great Vslir
Los Prados’s staff was awesome. The course was in great shape (greens, tees and fairways were in excellent shape for early spring. The course is an excellent place to play for the older golfer, it was very enjoyable for my wife and I to play at 75 years of age.
Terrible staff and facilities
By far the worst Vegas course we’ve played. We were in a foursome keeping up with the twosome in front of us (as they were waiting.) On the 4th hole my friend had to go back to her ball (we couldn’t see it in the deep grass) and the Marshall asked why she came back and told her to speed up. He continued to confront her about the 2 others in our group & she told him we didn’t know them, the course paired us up. As we were finishing the 6th hole the Marshall told us to speed up. I looked at my watch- we had just PLAYED 6 HOLES IN 57 MINUTES AND RUDELY TOLD TO SPEED UP. When the Marshall was listing his multiple complaints about us he said he was being nice- hate to see his bad side.
Before golf we wanted to buy bottled water. The snack bar looked closed so we went through the door just to the left of the snack bar. Tried to buy water inside and were told we had to go to the snack bar and ring the bell for service. The bar & the snack bar are in the same area!
There is no driving range, just a spot with 6 bays where you hit onto nets.
We rushed our golf game, with no enjoyment of the game and our foursome played in 3 hours 15 minutes. Not sure what the course expects you to play in but least friendly course I’ve ever played.
Los Prades
Great course for short hitters, greens, tees and fairways were awesome. Great value’
Great Course
The course was in very good shape! We had a very enjoyable day!
Frustrating layout with bad pace of play
It feels weird giving a course that was in good condition this low of a rating. But it just wasn't fun golf.
The course is easy, which unfortunately attracts a bunch of beginners/hacks. We got stuck behind a group of them, and after 3 hours to complete 11 holes waiting every shot, decided to skip a hole to get ahead of them. Turns out they were 3 holes behind the next group. Normally management would monitor this pace of play, but the course does not have any GPS in the carts and management does not have a ranger to monitor pace of play.
The course is a very frustrating layout for pace of play, because you have several drivable par 4's from the tips (275-300 yards), where you are waiting for the group ahead to complete the hole, out of risk that you strike one pure and hit into them on the green. Trees were the only real challenge, the greens were large, flat, and easily approachable. The course was not at all designed for the tips, it felt like I was always walking back ~30 yards and up hill from the cart path to tee off, taking secondary paths and needing to make U-Turns.
The starter doesn't follow the tee sheet. We showed up to the first tee, only for members who had the tee time after us to show up after us, and have the starter put them ahead of us "because he didn't want to make them upset."
The fairways/rough were wonderful, greens were a little slow, bunkers did not have enough sand, tee boxes were not level but were in good condition. There's a restaurant at the turn, but the QR code for the menu in the cart didn't work, and the menu wasn't available on the course website. There is no driving range.
Pleasantly surprised
The course was in excellent shape. Although houses lined both sides of fairway for almost every hole, they were very generous. Would definitely like to play again.
Great value for Vegas
Fun course in Vegas that won't cost you an arm and a leg. Greens were a bit firm and beat up but otherwise well maintained course. Teed off at 2:40 and finished a bit before sunset.
