Blew my expectations!
I am a novice at best angel park has a beautiful course. This course was just as nice! I wasn’t thrilled about it being a walking course but it is a very very walkable course! Carried my full bag and had no issues with it! Course also isn’t super challenging. Over all it went above and beyond my expectations. Will make this a place I go to for my short games!
Loved it
Exactly what I expected. Great facility and staff. My place to practice when I am in town!
You get what you pay for.
The Tee boxes were terrible. The pace of play was sloooow... but we had a great time.
Not bad for the price.
Refill the water hazard
Refill the water hazard, it looks ugly and puts off a foul smell being empty
Not impressed
Tee boxes are poorly maintained. If you enjoy hitting out of divots, this is the course for you. My bet is they field too many players and can't handle the amount of maintenance required to keep the tee boxes in shape. Some boxes aren't leveled out at all as well. The greens were also full of pitch marks. Here's the other issue I have. If you're going to have a hole that's a tribute to #17 at TPC Sawgrass, I expect that hole to have water around the green! Instead, it was a dry lake bed. Very disappointed all around. The only redeeming quality is the staff is very nice. Nevertheless, I'm not coming back.
Fun course need to golf play speed
I would never play this again on a weekend until they have rangers and at least limit the per hole play to 15 minutes. We waited as long as 30 minutes a hole
Pretty good.
There are better golf coarses out there but for the price it was worth it and was a great course it could have been a better quality of the coarse since the grass was very long, but overall it was a great course and I would come again.
:tee time was 7:30am backed up without starter, did not tee off until 8:00 am no marshal to push the pace
Fun course
Fun par 3 course. Greens in good shape. Fun course to practice irons.
Nice filler course
We played at 7:30 in the morning so we didn’t have anyone in front of us. We cruised through in no time. We walked with rented pull carts. Very walkable and easy. Tee boxes are pretty rough but the greens were in excellent shape. Bunkers are very hard with rocks and very little sand. Groundskeepers were mowing and grooming traps was not enjoyable. They should start at the end, hole 12, and go backwards so each group would only have to deal with them once a round. We had to deal with them for five holes. We felt rushed as they sat and waited for us to finish each hole.
Will definitely be back
Never played a Par-3 except at parent's RV timeshare so actually was expecting something similar. boy was I wrong. This is a fun course and it plays 12 holes. Lots of elevation changes and limited areas when you go off-line. Cost another $10 for the cart but since I had my full bag (played 8-SW only), opted for the cart instead of lugging it around. Great place to work on short game. Was not that busy, played on my own and the 4-some in front of me was not problem. Nobody behind me so I played a second ball a few times. Only downside of the course was the absurd amount of ball marks on greens. First of two Vegas courses I visited this week and the other, a resort club, was the same way. WHY DO PEOPLE NOT REPAIR THEIR BALL MARKS ON GREENS????? Had a lot of fun and cannot wait until I have the time to play one of the full courses. Range was decent but not great. Significantly elevated tee boxes so that hampered gauging proper distance, a little short for longer drivers, but as it was sand/rock, it was even difficult to exactly where you landed some times. $10 for a large bucket so price is comparable.
Pricey for 9 holes
We completed the 9 holes in just over 1 hour. Some of the greens were in poor condition. When booking I did not notice that the hot rate quoted was walking. The power cart was $20 for two players. It is optional but you will probably want it.
Nice short course
Played the Angel Park Cloud 9 for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I have stayed at the Marriott right across the street many times and never really knew this course was over here. The course is very short but challenging, especially if you're not accurate with your short game (like me!). Took a cart because my wife has a bad back, but you could easily walk this course as well.
