Don’t Go Before 6am
Had a confirmed tee-time for 5:45am, showed up early and ready to go. Was kindly told that I had to wait until 6:22am due to a booking error. Sadly heard that this happened earlier the same day. So don’t go before 6am and you’ll have a great time.
Course is excellent and well maintained.
Short Track but Fun
This was my first time playing here. My only complaint was the greens. There was a lot going on with them. Bad grass and not mowed. The greens were very inconsistent so you could not adjust for the entire round.
I do however recommend it.

good value
we had fun at this course, not too difficult, lots of birdie opportunities and one of my buddy had an eagle shot. friendly staff. a lots risk vs reward looks as wells, an eagle opportunity can turn into a triple boggies with all the traps, trees, and hills around the green. love the price on teeoff, $25. we’ll be back.

FELT DISCRIMINATED BY THE CASHIER (WOMAN)
Hi Everyone,
I honestly thought this was 2021.
My husband and I like to play golf together and we are always trying out new golf courses.
We decided to try this Sunday, LOS PRADOS…
We arrived before our reserved tee time, left our bags outside and walked together to the cashier to pay and register ourselves.
My husband says his name and that the tee is for 2, doesn't mention we are married but does mention my name which for obvious reasons has his same last name,… to give more context: My husband is red hair with green eyes and I am the typical latina (dark skin and brunette).
When he says my name she looks at me and asks him if the I am Name-Last Name, I mean who else would it be? I entered with him and was with him the entire time! But yet I decided to give her the benefit pf the doubt and think maybe she is just double checking her work.
But no…
He confirms it’s me, she takes some seconds while looking at the computer, looks at me again and says “She can’t play without a collar shirt” …
My husband was surprised but was still willing to buy me a new shirt right there to comply with the rules of the course.
He asks her if he can buy the shirt (one of their store) and just solve the issue, but yet she just remained in awkward silence, making us feel like there wasn’t any other option than to leave and lose our tee time.
I looked at my husband and move my lips in silence, enough to tell him “let’s go” …
We then went to ANGEL PARK, luckily we were able to get a tee time and had an amazing time like at any other golf course we have been.

Ok, I’m not the best putter but dog gone, can I get at least one in? The was a great course, it challenged me to the end of my nerves! I’ll be back!

Just shocked
So here it is a 1215 tee time at Los Prados for $20 courtesy of Golfnow. What to expect? Amazing is the only weird that comes to mind. No it's not a long course at all but I used my driver on almost everything sans the par3s. It's a thinking man's course, yes you can drive a green from the back but can you hit it straight enough to clear all obstacles? I had one of the best experiences playing this course. I lost my 2 battles with the trees protecting the right side of the green, thought I could go over at 30 yards out but these trees are 70 feet tall. Swallowed my golf ball and promptly dropped it straight down. You can't beat this hidden gem for a fun affordable round of golf when in town. It forces you to be creative and avoid the trees and homes that line some of the holes. My apologies to the 2 homeowners whose houses I did manage to hit. The downside is no gps but there's enough markers to have an understanding of where you are on each hole. Don't miss the opportunity to elevate your game by thinking while playing. Last thought definitely play from the back tee on hole 10. You'll have a gallery and a large water obstacle to overcome. No pressure. Enjoy and thank me later.
