Fullerton Golf Course

gc is fun due to it's uniqueness and the birdies to be had.

We had a phenomenal time. Surprisingly quick rare of play on a very busy day. Greens were gorgeous and well maintained.

Fullerton is a great layout. I love that every hole is unique in it's approach! Fairways and greens are 100% better than the last time I played. This is one of the two reasons that kept me away. Current course condition will now tempt me back. That said, the only other item that would still keep me away, is the cost of their cart rentals. Much too high. They told me $11.00 per rider. I asked cost if carts were shared and the same dollar amount per rider. How does this make sense? There is less sanitation with double riders. I saw a lot of single riders, understandably because of covid guidelines. When riders share, the cost should be $5.50 a piece since it is no extra work for employees, plus you lessen the walkers, thereby speeding up play. Don't get it.

We always enjoy this course.

Pretty good course, lots of fun holes and open spaces. Definitely an enjoyable experience even if course conditions were average and the design of a couple of holes were a bit odd. But if someone is looking for a good experience at a moderately priced public course, this is not a bad choice.

Watch out for the starter Jonny, because he over charged me. I’ll have to waste time disputing the charge. This short course is ok, but I don’t think that I’ll come back because of the starter Jonny.

Starter allows walk ins to jump on the tee box when they arrive. Waited 15-20 mins per hole to hit the initial tee shot. Was never this bad. I don’t understand why the staff does not encourage the slower golfers to pick up the pace

Course was in OK condition. several of the tee boxes were in very bad shape and almost all were in need of some serious repair. Fairways also had quite a bit of weed patches and areas under repair. Greens were in good condition and picked up speed after the morning dew dried (I just wish people would go back to fixing their ball marks). Pace of play was perfect and we had no hold ups at all with the group in front. However, ever since COVID started every golf course thought it was acceptable to raise their prices by $20-$40. I understand in the beginning the courses had additional cleaning procedures, cart dividers, or mandatory groupings of only household members but that has all since gone away but the courses have still left their prices raised instead of lowering them back down to where they should be. Fullerton is a fun course but it should never be in the $50+ price range.

The fairways are in terrible shape these days... definitely not worth the $$$. Greens helped to offset, as they were in great shape.

I would have been totally frustrated, had not all my interactions with staff not been as fantastic as it was. Staff was very accommodating and friendly! They saved the day. Prices and carts for non-members, definitely not worth the asking price, given condition fairways have deteriorated to. Lots of bare spots, dead grass, and grass not mowed, in addition to numerous muddy conditions from excess water puddling in some areas.
