Pilot Knob Park Golf Course

Nice track. In great shape and the greens are fast we’ll maintained. The grounds are being attended too meticulously can’t wait to see the results when the weather breaks.

Nice course within easy driving distance of Winston Salem and well worth the drive. Friendly starter who spent some time checking if I should start at the front or back 9 (I was a single). He timed it right and I felt like I had the course to myself. Good changes of elevation and the fairways and greens were in very good shape. Food service was adequate and friendly with limited menu. Would easily play again here. Views of Pilot Mountain nicely showcase the beauty of the majestic landscape of this part of the state.

Very fun layout and speed of the greens make for a great test of skills…SHOUT OUT for the Greens Keepers!!!

Course layout was great and conditions were excellent for November 1. Leaves were well controlled. I went off as a single at 8am. Finished in 2:40. There was a 5some two spots behind me who were teeing off 10 as I finished 18. I can see pace of play being an issue out here as other reviewers suggest.

This course has a fun layout. You will get a little bit of everything on this course. Beautiful greens, tight fairways, even the rough looks good. Beautiful course to enjoy while you either have a great round or the only thing going well are the views.

Played on Labor Day. Course was in great shape. Clubhouse staff was very nice. Ran into 6some at hole #15. Yes a 6some. Waited on every shot. No one in front of them. When we were on 16 we could see that 16, 17, and 18 were open. I don't care about the 6some but it is a problem when you are holding up people behind you. No ranger so they kinda did what they wanted. Too bad. Other than that it is a nice course.

If you like a challenge, PMP won’t disappoint. Some of the fairways are challenging with elevation changes and blind tee shots. Come to think of it, it’s rare to see the flag when you tee off.But I had a great time especially for first time playing. I plan to return for sure. As a plus they have a great chipping area, putting green and driving range.

Fun course. Nice change of pace from the typical courses I play in WS like Oak Valley, Salem Glen, etc. Good amount of shots with challenging elevation changes and a good test that makes you hit some shots. Good value.

I booked a hot deal with no indication that greens had been aerated. The greens had punch holes were as big as a nickel and surface covered with sand.

The rest of the course was in good condition. I would not recommend booing even a hot deal for a few weeks.

The course is in great shape from tee to green . They also have a driving range and putting green for practice and chipping area. The round took five hours to play and no ranger to speed play up. The greens ran around a 11 and rolled true. Their are no house's on course but because of the five hour round I won't be back.

This course has some large, very fast almost perfect greens. The course is short but plays longer. The par threes are all long but one. With only 2 par fives and par 70 it is a test. The views are great too. Make the drive.

Nice course that forces you to take tough shots with very fast greens lots of change in elevation throughout the round keeps it interesting.
