Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort - Zaharias Course

Great course. Got to play for $49 which is a steal. Can't wait to try Ike.

This golf couse is alway one of the most tough and best challenge place in LA area. If you play own you are H/C. you going Excellent day.

I have played this course many times, best I have seen it this year.

It's my first time to play golf at this course. The course is in general very impressive. However, the course is a little bit too short. I also had difficult time to go back to the club house after the rounding.

Golf shop and even Golf Pro staff treat customers rudely. Not sure if it was because I had golfnow, but the staff gave me a terrible reception and treated me extremely poorly my entire time there. Maybe their focus is on corporate events, but their individual service was the worst I've experienced at any golf course. Very conceited staff who could care less about you. There were four staff there gossiping at the counter when i first walked in and they seemed annoyed that I interrupted their conversation. Not once did I feel welcome by them. I got there an hour before my 1:40 tee time at the Babe course and wanted to check and go to the range. They wouldn't give me a cart to take my gear there, and said it was a 2 minute walk, which is closer to a 10 minute walk. The guy also said I was too early and to check back in around 1:30 to play golf. I checked back in at 1:28 and the guy said I was still too early and to come back closer to my tee time. I waited around the pro shop till 1:40 and they finally gave me a key for a golf cart. The range lady was nice and so was the marshall. My entire review of the staff is about the rude Asst Pro and golf shop staff......well dressed in nice shirts, but not personable at all. You would expect nicer staff at a resort style club, but they were some of the worst staff at any course I have played.

The Babe golf course is tight. A couple blind doglegs and trees in the middle of the fairway to block shots. Got to hit them straight. Greens and bunkers in decent shape. It was cart path only which made all the golfers play slow.

My first 18 holes was at this course 18 years ago. since then i had been playing there countless times. Great course, and excellent condition, a bit narrow to some holes, but very challenging. Love it, looking forward to play this beautiful course again and again. Never got tired of it.

When I was walking up to the front desk I asked a guy who was leaving, how was the course? He said it was in terrible shape. I hadn't played the Babe in 6 months so I was concerned because it is usually in pretty good shape. However, he was spot on. I don't know whether it was due to mowing the fairways too tight getting ready to over seed or they were not watering enough but they were dry and thin. The tee boxes were also in rough shape. You used to be able to count on the Babe being in very good shape but the course has gone down hill for some reason. I won't be going back any time soon.

I played here many times but it was worst when I played. Really bad fairways. Soggy areas everywhere. Maintenance workers everywhere and the machine noises everywhere. Normally maintenance workers stop when people are about to hit the shots but they kept on going and going. It really bothered my friend and I. The golf course should post condition of the course. It was BAD!!!!

Greens terrible condition. Fairways terrible because getting ready to reseed and they work on them while you are playing and don't stop for you. Blowing grass with blower while we were in the fairway getting grass in our eyes and noses. Staff unfriendly when complaining about it.

green is in nice condition not great condition, but the fairway its drying up about 20% of the places for a course at this price range. It could be due to lack of rain in this area.
There were no one in front or behind us, the course is pretty empty, you can play as fast or slow as you want!

Let start by I usually have a great time at this course. But yesterday Sep 23 they had workers all over the course. I understand they have to do work on the course to keep it in shape but please! Let the public know. People at shop didn't tell us, golfnow didn't tell us. The bottom line is they have workers with their tractors on the fairways and they don't move when you're ready to tee it up, or when you take your second shoot. Then on greens they were using their blowers while we were putting me and others got stuff in are eyes. NOT COOL !!

This is not Ike, but still a very good and challenging course. Fairways are good. Greens were very wet, but it still roll very nice and fast. Tee boxes do need a little TLC. Overall very good course. Will for sure have this course in our playing rota.

Great facility and property. Range mats and balls beaten up quickly maybe because of volume of golfers. Course was in good shape inspite of recent drought. Fairways, rough and greens in ideal playing conditions. Course was challenging, cart GPS was wonderful especially for first timers. Looking forward to going back.

Title says it all. Why pay so much when other courses cost less and provide better overall experience.

Spotty fairways and the world famous worst tee boxes in L.A. County

Tee boxes need to be blown up and re-leveled with sturdy turf. Fairways were spotty and neglected. At least the greens were exceptional and consistent. Bunkers were excellent too.

I've played here many times in the past and it's been great. Last weekend, I played in a golf tournament and the course was in horrible shape. Never seen it like this before. The tee boxes were all covered with divots and hard to find a place to tee up, the fairways had dirt patches on quite a few holes which made it hard to keep your ball in the middle of the fairway and the greens were all chunky n bumpy. This made it hard to roll a true putt.

I love this course but I'm not sure it's worth the money anymore ($110 on the weekends). If I knew the condition of the course prior to signing up for the tournament, I wouldn't of wasted my money. I'm not sure if the ownership of the resort changed but it seems that after the LPGA Kia Classic played there, it kinda went down.

I sure hope they improve the conditions there cause this is a great place to play golf.

PS Please get new range balls n mats. They are pretty beat up. Especially the balls.

The course in general is nice, the staff is friendly, didn't try the food so can't comment on that. Have been wanting to try the course for a while, got a good deal on mid morning tee time, conclusion, I wouldn't pay the regular rate to play this course. In my opinion there are nicer courses in much better shape in the same price range or cheaper.

This was my first time at the Babe course. Played a morning round, and it was perfect weather. Course is in very good shape. Greens rolled true, rough is thick but not impossible to get out off.

We played two days after the Jimmy V ESPY charity tournament, and there's a City tournament coming up so they have the course in very good shape.

The layout is excellent, with several blind shots throughout the course that challenge, but not to the point of being unfair. I noticed that the fairways and several areas around the greens looked firm but were very soft and wet (poor drainage especially on the front nine). The greens were average speed and bumpy (nobody fixes divots). This is a good shot makers course.
