Menifee Lakes Country Club - The Palms Golf Course

Starter was the rudest man ever! My partner hadn't played for a while so we hit some balls first! We were going to putt and he suggested we get going if we wanted to finish. I said we weren't worried about finishing. Our reservation was for the Lakes course. I asked if there was a preferred course for us to play where we wouldn't be in anyone's way. He made a big deal that we should play Palms but we had the wrong colored cart, but he would allow it! There was no one near the lakes course so we teed off there! At the third hole (2:30) the starter came up behind us playing golf. He told us to get moving he was told to pick up the flags, he stood on the TEE Box with his arms folded yelling for us to play faster! We left!

Good Course - Good Rate! No marshal to enforce the rules of play - considerable slow 5+ hours for 18.

I have played this course a number of times in previous years and always enjoyed it. This year the fairways and roughs were in horrible condition. The greens were in good shape. It was disappointing to see the deterioration of the playing conditions.

Have played this course before but this was most time consuming 18 hole we have ever played. Too many players assigned back to back because the lake course was left open for "breathing" after members playing it in the morning. One of our partner left in the middle and I was ready to do the same.

Staff was not friendly. Acted like they didn't want people to golf there. Course needs better maintenance. For the price you would think it would be better maintained. Seems very different than the last time I played there a long while ago. Not worth the drive any more. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff was friendly course was a bit beat no sand in bunkers, greens were bumpy and slow.

Course in good shape except most bunkers needed more sand. .Course lay-out is simple and wide open which is great for big hitters.

After reading some reviews of this course I went in without huge expectations. The fairways were in good shape, the rough was mostly green, and the greens were outstanding. The course plays pretty easy, so it's a confidence booster. It was fun. It was 18 holes in just over 3 hours. Exceeded my expectations.

We were pressured by four other player to move faster. They were hitting the balls and we were all four still playing the hole. It got to a point were we almost picked up their ball. We found out later that it was a staff member with his buddies and they had already gone 3 times around the golf course. Me and my friends have been to your course 3 times prior and didn't experience anything like this. Needless to say we paid $41.00 a piece and didn't enjoy it. We golf once a week and after this Sunday we will possibly be considering a different course. We were hoping to eat some lunch and have a cold drink but the lady with the cart only had warm sandwiches that needed to be cold and drinks in a bucket with ice water she said the cart she had last week wasn't working and she apologized. Before this incident I would of given you 5 stars all around.
You might want to tell your staff to be considerate of other players especially if they are beginners, which we were not.. Hope all improves so we can come back to play...

Course is in really nice condition and players were of good etiquette. I like it. Tricky in spots and open for a breath. good mix.

Played this course for the first time. Great value for the money. The staff was amazing and took great care of their customers.

I always enjoy a round of golf at Menifee Lakes. Both courses, Palms & Lakes are challenging yet forgiving.. The courses are always in good condition and the staff is friendly!

I played the Palms course, but there are a lot of lakes. The course condition was excellent. All of the area in going through a heat spell and this place was also included. Amazingly played 18 holes in 3.5 hours!!!! And I wasn't rushing either???? Great staff and really friendly local people.
