Menifee Lakes Country Club - The Palms Golf Course

Errant shots will not penalize on every hole. Great for amateur golfer. Afternoon play you almost have course to yourself.

Menifee Lakes has always been a challenging course for me ! But, since I have been playing well as of late, I thought I would give it a try. I could not believe how open the course was, I did not have to wait on a single shot. Plus, the greenskeepers really watered the greens well so that they were soft and very receptive to iron shots. I LOVE it when I have to repair my ball marks on the green ! I guess I should mention I shot the VERY BEST round of my life ! 34 and 38 for a lifetime best score of 72 ! What an AMAZING day !

This was a very nice course to play. i had an awesome time an will be going back. Also it was a great way to start my 4th .

Course was in excellent shape the the management was professional and courteous. Putting greens were super. Been two years since last here. Course was a blast. Will be back again soon.

The course was in pretty good condition , except for the bunkers. The bunkers were obviously not touched on the day I played because they were wet, muddy and very crusty and looked like they needed a lot more sand. There were two of us playing today and teed off at 11:20 and inspite of the 100 degree weather we finished at 2:45. The greens were the best I've ever seen, very fast and flat.Overall the course was in above averagecondition.

Great lay out open fairways green can be tricky tho some of them arevery fast

It is quite a drive from Orange County. I would not drive there to play only this course, but I would include it with a tour of Temecula-area golf courses.

This course is literally 60 seconds from my house. Good course. Good condition. Finished in 4 hours. Ate a chicken philly sandwich on the Grill patio. Great overall service. I'll be back.

I would like to see the distance on the driving range marked better. But overall I enjoyed the course.

The course and staff and pace of play was fabulous. My self and my playing partner were done with 18 in a little over 3 hours.

The fairways and greens were in great shape. The bunkers could use more sand as a base.

Over all it was great golf playing.

Once you get by the rude counter guy you will have a pretty nice course that is wide open. Played our round in under three hours, and never came upon another group.

There has to be a way to let us know that the course punched the greens!!!! The price is nice but I didn't know that they did the greens-----terrible ---I wouldn't have booked the tee time. All courses should make it known that the greens are punched!!!

We really enjoyed the course. Starter said it was busy. We barely saw anyone. A twosome played 18 in 3 hours 20 minutes. Only had to wait at 17 and 18 for a couple minutes each.

Got the Hot deal so it was a great price.

Bar lounge had a saxapgone player jammin' and a lively crowd as we lamented over missed opportunities on our score card.

Only negatives were 200 and 100 yard markers were difficult to find if they even existed.

Menifee is one of the best courses in the area for the money! These 36 holes and most of the time you can choose the side you want to play. Both have water on them but the lakes has more. The water is really doesn't come in to play that much if you are playing a fairly decent around. Fairways are nice and wife and the greens are nice size, not to big not to small. All the bunkers have sand in them and therefore not bad to play out of. The lay out of the course is quite conventional so there are not any funky holes on the course. Currently the greens are recovering form being punched so the roll on the greens not so true right now. But they are coming along and should be back to normal within 2 weeks. Again great course for mid level to low happicapper players.

Nice clubhouse, nicestaff, fair price, excellent greens but very bad fairways. Probably due to the drought. All SoCal fairways are in very bad condition. Pray for rain.

It was overcaste and windy but the course was great. Considering the dry weather this year, this course is in good shape. The greens were fast and the course well kept. I will definitely play it again and recommend it to others.

This course is above average course with a good mixture of holes verying in size and difficulity. Greens are generally in good condition. I would have given the course a top rating except for the sand traps and ground surrounding the greens. The sand traps are below average, poorly maintained. The sand is not soft and has a tendency to pack resulting in a lot of club bounce. The ground around the greens are hard and lumpy with little grass making chipping a challenge.
