Shoreline Golf Links at Mountain View

Played for the first time. It was a summer that had a lot of kid campers played. Fairways are in bad condition (dead grass, dry dirt, etc.). Course layout is the only good think for this course.

Fairways dry and a bit thin with bare spots perhaps due to drought but they use recycled water so not sure why so dry.

There are way better courses in the area for the price. The course isn’t atrocious, but nearly every close course in the price range is better.

Very few courses deserve a 5 star rating but this course was still fun to play nonetheless.

Shoreline is a nice course with a reasonable weekend walking rate ($60). The pace is good but some of greens look beat up and a few of the fairways have bare spots. I will play again if I want a fairly inexpensive round.

-Ate lunch in the restaurant before our round, excellent food and service

-staff in the pro shop was terrific, very friendly

-great amenities, chipping/pitching area, great practice green, full range

-the course itself was a disappointment

-the greens were solid, but the rest of the course conditions were very poor

-particularly around the greens, a lot of bare dirt, holes everywhere, seems they struggle to grow grass consistently

-for $23 on a Friday it is a solid deal, however most would prefer to pay double or triple the price with better course upkeep

Nice course. Greens are a bit rough. Can be windy on the shore. Some players seemed new and didn’t know what they were doing. It’s average and I would play there again

Will preface this by saying it was super windy and it is probably usually windy by the lake. The course was great for a beginner and it’s super cheap after 3:04 PM usually it’s only 20 bucks. Not too busy I played at 5 PM and I could easily get two or three tea shots and without messing any sort of pace of play up. As a beginner I had fun on one of my first 18 holes

This course could be so nice if it was better maintained.

Terrible condition! Manager, Marshall all had assive attitude. I can handle the attitude if the course condition was decent, but NO. The course was even worse.

Some of the reviews had me skeptical about coming but i truly enjoyed my round at shoreline! Greens were rolling nice for a muni, had some good fairway lies but the wind can make it tough! But overall really enjoyed my day out there. I also like the layout. Fun course
