Golfer Reviews
Wide open to play.
Course is running great. The greens are perfect and super challenging putting locations. The daily winds are an advantage on several holes.
The ball carries pretty well down the fairways.
Intermediate Amateur to Professional Play
This course is such a beautiful scene. The terrain is well maintained and the greens are fast. Long holes with plenty of forgiving room. Downfall is the smell and geese poop everywhere. Very packed everyday of the week. So the entire course is always backed up at each hole.
Caddyshack
Challenging links course. There were more gophers on the course than golfers... Seriously, I hit perfect drives down the middle on the two par 5's and couldn't find my ball but did find lots of gopher holes. Otherwise enjoyed the round, much like Moffett Fields GC but longer and more challenging.
God course
Shoreline is a good course.
The greens are very difficult and the wind makes some holes long.,
Pace of play was a little slow today.
It is not easy but not too difficult.
Shoreline GC July 9, 2020
The course is generally in good condition. The tee box area has some bare spots, the fairways have some bare spot, the greens are in excellent condition. Pace of play was ok. It took us 4 hours to play 18 holes. It helped that the group in front of us let us play through on the 10 th hole. We were waiting for them on every hole on the front 9. On some days, we need a Marshall on course to speed up play.
Good muni for thenorice
Perfect for the urge to sneak in an early morning Sunday round
OUCH
You seriously needed a kidney belt driving down the fairways , they are in terrible condition dry and hard.
Green not so bad...but again YIKES on the fairways
Getting Back To Golf
Nearly perfect greens. Ball rolls for days. Soft tee boxes. Get outta the house. Golf is a part of the healing.
I played with another single and we rocked the course.
My New Friend David Played AWESOME! He launched the ball some 300 yards about 4 holes. Along with 3 birdies. And yes it would have went in on the 15th Hole. The par 3 shot of the day! David launched the ball into the wind with a 6 iron the ball starts left of green/hole, curves right and dropped onto the foam in hole and bounced out softer then if it hit the flag. There was no divot. So it for sure hit the foam.
Back 9 is dried up
Played the front and was having a good round, when turning to the back 9 the first 2 holes were okay with the grass then when you cross the road the course turns into a motocross dirt track. The grass only grows around the sprinklers about 10 feet then on the fairway it is hard dirt making a really good drive in the fairway land in the dirt.
Nice course, but needs maintenance
The fairway conditions are pretty poor. There're too many dry areas all over. It really needs watering. The greens are well maintain though. A few holes have many duck/goose poopoo.
