Great if you’re a masochist. Very hilly with several blind shots. Some holes had no flat areas on the fairways. Number 8 green diseased and in poor condition. Plus it’s shallow and crowned so unless you’re perfect you end up 30 yds short or long. Similar for 18. Out of bounds in play on several holes. Many lateral and other hazards. And at least two holes had large trees near the middle of the fairway. Plus the driving range was closed but they gave me water balls to hit into a pond. Really?!? Save your money and sanity and go elsewhere.

Don't know what's happened, but the course was in the worst shape I've seen it in. It's the first time I played here this year, but compared to my visit from last year, the course seemed to be lacking. The greens were very bumpy and slow, Tees showed a lot of wear. Only course I play in the bay area, that doesn't include a cart in their Hot Deals.

Indian Valley GC is a true gem in Marin. Conditions were wet (winter season) but the course is very well maintained and a joy to play. Greens and bunkers in excellent playing condition considering the dampness. It is evident that drainage is efficient. The full service pro shop and restaurant are excellent with many offerings and a very friendly staff. Even if you don’t live in Marin Co. it is well worth the drive to play this beautiful course which offers different challenges to every level of player. I look forward to walking this track many times in the future.

Driveworthy for quality of design, conditioning, and beauty. Though sited on hilly terrain, it is still very walkable. No houses on the course (can't count the distant house along 3 fairway) and the view from 16 blue tee box is world class. Choosing the correct tee box will provide an enjoyable and challenging round.

Challenging and fun course to push a walking cart. Cold air with a NW breeze. Stay warm and walk fast. Fairways are draining well and greens running smooth. Finished the round under 4 hours. Looking forward to play again.

The course is in great shape and the pace of play was very tolerable. Two of us walked in 4 and half hours. It’s a great course to play for all levels, not too challenging

Come here whenever I catch the deal on golfnow. Worth the drive. Greens were in great shape along with fairways. If you want a course where you are one with nature yet a stones throw from urban cities then this is it. Check this place out at least once and you will be like me and keep returning.

One of the few mountain courses in the bay. Valued price of 23$ sure doesn't hurt. Course has a lot of elevated shots which makes for a lot of fun. Additionally it has a lot of wind coming through the hills making you learn to judge every shot.

I usually have good experiences here but lately the pace of play has been awful and the greens and practice greens are punched way too often!!

Beautiful day, but it would have been nice to know that the greens had been punched and the tee boxes on 3 & 4 had been moved way up due to tree work. Otherwise great day out on the course as always

I was looking forward to experience the elevator/lift on a golf course. They seemed not to care to repair or service the elevator/lift to be operational. It was horrible and very disappointing to walk up a very steep hill with your heavy golf bag with a pushing golf cart. I will not recommend walking this golf course, unless you have a strong legs and a strong heart!

This course has lots of elevation changes and different types of holes, which makes it fun to play. We walked and it took about 4 hours and 10 minutes to play. Lots of slope changes on some of the holes especially the back 9.

Only 18 hole course in Marin County that is affordable and available for everyone to play. Course is fun to play with lots of different types of holes. Somewhat hard to walk if your are not used to walking.

Course was in fairly good shape however the greens were extremely uneven, causing putts to hop along. Recently were sanded adding to condition. Several holes had areas that were still wet.
