Jurupa Hills Country Club
About
Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Front Desk
I had made a reservation for three players but as it always happens one more friend wanted to join us last minute which he did , but I was not expecting to be scoled for not calling the night before to let the course know we had a foursome and not a threesome , even though it was a Friday and not a really busy day I did'nt care for the comment .
Pace of play was terrible, but outside of that it was a fun and easy course
- fun easy course
- pace of play was terrible, they stacked everyone too closely together (all players upfront were pretty decent players, so it wasn't the players, but the course itself). We had to wait at every hole
- would have easily gave a better review if it wasn't for pace of play, which wasn't expected on a weekday
Setting an Example
Jurupa Hills CC sets the standard for me for a great golf experience. From check in through check out a wonderful experience. Never disappointed here.
Marshalls are a joke
We tee'd off at 7:30am and by the 4th hole the marshal started badgering us that we are already a hole and a half behind. Mind you, we weren't slow, its just the group in front of us were super fast, scratch golfers, so gave the visual effect that we were slow. and the group behind us were no where to be found. So from that point on the ridiculous marshal kept hounding us every other hole, i mean he was popping out of the bushes, hiding behind trees, it was like a cartoon! We finished at 11:45am with scores of 86, 88, 91, 91, that's a decent pace i feel. Bottom line is don't waste your money here unless you feel like being treated like a criminal! The only reason I'd go back is to see Isabella and her "attributes", they are amazing!!
Great day
Course was in great shape. Greens played true. Wish the group ahead would've fixed their ballparks.
A Hidden Gem
An old school tree lined course that is well maintained. The greens were lush and held well. Tee boxes were generally not level, but that was a minor complaint. The only area that this course needs to address is its bunkers. They are top dressed to look well kept, but it is only a thin layer of sand with hardpan underneath. Take the bounce off your wedge to hit out of them or you will sky it over the green.
Course in very good condition
This is best I have seen this course in a very long time. The fairways are lush and filled in nicely. The greens are very nice and roll true.
The only complaint would be they water heavily in the morning- which makes the greens very soft and the fringe around the greens is too wet. There is cragly grass in the fringes- which is tough to hit out of when dry. When they are very wet- it is impossible to get a clean strike on the ball.
This course has great features
It was so hot, but I was able to enjoy it comfortably.
