Situated in the foothills of Riverside, Jurupa Hills Country Club is popular amongst locals for offering one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy but there are still some tough holes. The front nine is fairly wide open but the back nine gets more challenging. Although the fairways are mostly straight, they are lined with trees on both sides and the occasional dogleg is thrown into the mix. The golf course tumbles across rolling hills, providing uneven lies and a few blind shots as well. Large sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there are also a few water hazards that come into play. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range at Jurupa Hills Country Club.

Overbooked

Our tee time was 40 minutes late. We had to use glow balls on 17 and couldn’t play 18. I heard later that the Marshall said there was a super-slow party of 5 that set them back. My suggestion: Don’t book parties of 5!!!

The good news is that the manager was super nice and gave us a card for a free 9.

Beer patrol

Seems like the Marshall cares more about outside alcohol then the pace of the game. New management is giving a bad name to the golf game by inspecting your golf bag for outside alcohol. They need to get there priority straight if they want a successful business. This goes to each golf course in the area (Van Buren, Indian Hills and Jurupa hills).

It’s been better

Not bad but not great.. front 9 looks good. Back 9 has always needed some work. Lot of greens being aerated. Pace of play was really good. All the tees got moved back. So the holes are longer than normal. All in all not too bad

Was never aware of tournament

I placed a tee time at 12:56 and I got there at 12:45 to check in. The guy at the front told me it's gonna be an hour till my tee time because there was a tournament. I was never informed of this when buying my tee time, and now I am forced to wait an hour because I can't get a refund. What's the point of a tee time if I'm gonna have to wait an hour?
