About
Nestled in the foothills of eastern Ventura County, Tierra Rejada Golf Club is known for its picturesque setting and stunning views. The club overlooks the Reagan Presidential Library. Tierra Rejada is unique in that it offers a formidable test for low handicappers from the championship tees but it is also accessible to mid and high handicappers thanks to the Players Course. The 5,600-yard Players Course is a "course within a course" that was designed to keep the game fun for golfers who may not be looking for a tough test. Even though it may be shorter, both golf courses still provide a challenge. There are plenty of ups and downs throughout thanks to the rolling hills and there are a variety of hazards coming into play including water and strategically placed bunkers.

DUMPSTER FIRE - BUYER BEWARE
Front 9 is horrible. Gimmick holes. Entire course is burned out and your lies are either on dirt or grass that hasn’t seen water in what looks like over a year. I wouldn’t call it grass because grass is green. Looks as though they are focused on the greens and grass around the greens. Was almost killed by an errant tee shot of a group that proceeded to tee off on a par 3 WHILE WE WERE STILL ON THE GREEN. Pace of play is tragic plus the conditions and the top golf front nine I’m having trouble understanding how they can sleep at night robbing people for the green fee they charge. Last thing? They are still in 2015 - no Apple Pay in any of the facilities but the cart girls take Apple Pay. Guess this course doesn’t want to pay the fees associated with that service but hey, why not you are definitely saving money on your water bill. There are many other courses better than this one and for less money. Don’t waste your time.

Above and Beyond
Beverage Cart Attendant went above and beyond, returning to the clubhouse to get our group cigars within 10 minutes!

Very scenic course , nice elevation changes
course was in very nice shape . Lot of slope on the greens , lot of slope on the fairways , nice mix of difficult holes, a few gettable holes , and many obtainable ones . Fun day in the sunny hills

Challenging course at a great price!
I have played here many times and love the layout, views, and difficult pin placements. Not suited for beginners, but playable for average and above golfers. Several signature holes with multiple doglegs, large vertical drops, and mandatory canyon crossing during your tee shots.

Tierra rejada
Played yesterday as a 2 some. Course was in great shape as always and greens were rolling fast. Four some scheduled to tee off after us jumped infront on the first tee and slowed us down a bit but still finished around 4:40 (not great but not terrible). Staff is always friendly and keeps the course in great shape. Looking forward to playing again!

A Scenic, Strategic Challenge
Tierra Rejada is one of the most beautiful and memorable courses I’ve played. The layout weaves up and down through the hills, offering stunning panoramic views on almost every hole. The elevation changes add both beauty and complexity, making club selection and course management key.
It’s a challenging track—several holes are tight and make it easy to end up out of bounds. That said, the lateral hazards offer some forgiveness and keep things moving. It’s definitely not an impossible course to shoot low on, but you have to be strategic in your shot placement and club choices.
My dad and I played best ball and had an absolute blast. The practice facilities are excellent—well-kept and a great place to warm up, which I always appreciate.
My dad and I make it a tradition to play a new course every year on my birthday, but this time we both agreed: we’ll be coming back to take on Tierra Rejada again next year. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a scenic and rewarding round.

Greens rolled true, and I noticed some nice upgrades to the cart. The GPS was nice. the cart was clean. Overall, a great round!

Forever my favorite golf course
My boyfriend proposed on the 18th green. I have played here before and enjoyed it, but now Tierra Rejada is officially my favorite golf course forever :)
Lost a lot of balls during our round, but gained a lot more at the end of the day. Will absolutely be back.
