It was time to tee off there was thick heavy fog that didnt burn til about 930-10, I get it’s not there fault but you couldn’t see 10ft in front of you and finding your hall was a nightmare especially when the starter had the group behind you teeing off right away and onto you. Can’t blame the guys on the tee because they couldn’t see us hitting in front of them. The Greens were punched and were too soft this along with major ground under repair in the middle of the fairway seemed like a rip off to pay over 100 dollars for these course conditions. Golf carts could use an upgrade with modern gps and screen showing you distances because like I said your range finder wasn’t worth anything in the heavy fog. Also if a muni golf course that charged 40 dollars for 18 and has better more modern carts there is a problem.

I regularly play at Tierra Rejada (2x per month). Over last several months I’ve seen the Tee Boxes deteriorate to the point I think they are unplayable. Yesterday was the absolute worst. How any course, let alone a course this expensive, would allow for tee boxes to get this bad is very SURPRISING. The only tee boxes I’ve seen this bad are from a course I won’t mention that closed down soon after my last visit. Honestly every public course in Los Angeles and Ventura County have nicer, more playable tee boxes. The course is fun to play, greens are solid and the rest of the course is in good to decent shape. Just blown away by the terrible tee boxes.

I played for a long time. Everything seemed good. The course condition was good and the playing speed was good, so I had a pleasant round.

I had the worse experiences ever and I’ve been playing golf over 30 years. I was there to enjoy my day but it turns out that some of the staffs at the food and beverages so rude to us..

Check in was smooth, good communication with employee, very informative, good interaction.

All grass range with a practice green made fir a full warm up session. The pop up bar at the range was a nice touch also...

Pace of play was smooth until we ran upon 2 groups who were playing "selective shot" with numerous mulligans. No concept of other golfers...where was the Marshall ? Didn't see one all day ?!? At least it was on the 15th so had to endure their shenanigans for a few holes.

Layout was nice, some scenic aspects and good elevation changes made for an interesting day.

Greens were in good shape they were a bit spongy but understandable to keep them green during the summer months. Just wish other golfers would learn to repair their pitch marks...maybe one day.

Snack bar area had sufficient options and the employees were all professional and made for an enjoyable experience . Even had live entertainment on the patio so the "wind down" after the round had a nice touch.

Worth it, would definitely return.

I would not recommend this course. The course was in horrible shape. Fairways being redone and tee boxes were awful. To charge full price was a joke. The pace of play was great because no one will play here.

At least 4 of the fairways had large areas of ground under repair. It looks like some destructive insect attacked the fairways and they were in the process of replacing the grass. Very disappointing
