Green were in great shape, but that’s about it. Scheduled a tournament on a Sunday morning?? Guys, if you can’t fill the tee sheet on a weekend, and need to schedule a tourney, they’re may be bigger problems. 5+ round with a 12pm tee time is just not upholding what USGA is trying to do with shorter rounds. Need some Marshall out there enforcing pace of play and perhaps some rules on tee boxes based on handicaps. Fairways were hard-pan which was surprising with all the recent rain. Rustic Canyon is about the only place left to play in Moorpark area in my opinion. Hope it gets better guys.

I would not recommend playing this golf course as they are not upfront and honest with you about anything. The fairways were very sketchy and thin on grass. The greens were good. My teatime was 1152 and I did not to be off until 1218 because of a college tournament that was in the process of teeing off. The pro shop staff did not tell me about the tournament or any of the folks that I was going to be playing with It took three hours and five minutes to play nine holes

Tierra is no longer the course it used to be. New management is incredibly friendly, which is a huge improvement over the previous staff. However, they are cutting corners left and right to save a buck and the players are the ones suffering.

Tee’d off almost 30 minutes past my tee time and it took over 5 hours to complete the round as they clearly over sold their slots today.

It’s not much fun when you have to wait 15 minutes on every hole.

Played this course today after so many years and it was windy. The front nine is very challenging and difficult due to forced carry over ravines. The back nine is a little forgiving. Paid only $35 for golf with cart. Too bad the promo (for 55+) is only up to 12/31/18, The course is well maintained. Fast and undulating greens, The only thing I did not like are the bunkers - hard pan sand. But overall, great value.

I wanted to like Tierra Rejada for all its plusses - price being the top. After the round, I’m going to say that the course itself looks terrific in photos, and the reviews were good, so I booked.

This is a classic example of the deceptiveness of the photos presented. This course isn’t at all that nice. In fact, the front nine is just downright unreasonable - if you’re a recreational golfer, you better bring two dozen balls. The back nine is just fine - in fact, I’d rather play the back nine twice rather than labor on the front nine for two hours.

The cafe/grill is slow, and the workers seem like they just have other things to do or worry about than help you. One outwardly criticized the computer system, as if it was my problem. Ridiculous.

Needless to say, I won’t be returning. There are better options in the Ventura County/Simi Valley area that have good prices and course actually suits the recreational golfer.

This course is a complete gimmick. It's so bad architecturally speaking that it's almost fun to practice on. A real version of Golf-N-Stuff. Most second shots are played off uneven lies, even if you're in the middle of the fairways, with outbounds everywhere. There are several holes that you can use driver on, but more often than not the proper t-shot is a 200-250yrd low iron or wood that finds the fairway. Greens were extremely slow. I'm guessing this course went bankrupt at some point (at least once) and is just trying to scrape by.

This course is dried out like a desert. I love the idea of the course but the conditions are not great. Dried fairways, like hitting off dirt.

The cost for 18 holes at a course that previously was expensive drew me to play. The new owners are working on upgrades and repairs. The driving range is closed. The greens were in good shape. I have not played here for a couple of years because of the cost. I will be back.

This is a good course and is challenging to play. I teed off a little after seven and for the first 10 holes I couldn't see more than 40 yards due to the fog. They had recently aerated the greens and so they were very slow. Will be back to play the course after the aeration process is gotten better.

They just punched the greens so therefore it was a little bit Sandy. However overall it was a good course and a nice experience.

Great way to end the week. Beautiful course filled with nature.
