Remington Golf Club

Every time we travel to Orlando, I play at Remington and have never been disappointed. I get an early start and the pace of play was superb. Fairways playable, greens fine, and some neat golf holes. By all means, play this course.

No starter confusion in starting fast play only because not that crowded

Over priced fir conditions needs some work especially traps n needs watering

Our tee off was at 8:58 and they were alreary 1 hour late. We canceled on the site.

Me & my wife booked a tee time for 8:48am and didn’t tee off till 9:30. This was because the course decided to over book themselves. They had a big group that shotgunned started earlier in morning and allowed them to play through on #1 tee box. Several people left, we decided to wait because we came to Florida to golf. I went and asked for discounted golf and was told sorry can’t do that. Then he proceeded to say how crazy tee times have been the past month. I didn’t want to hear his excuses for how they overbook tee times. Obviously they care more about getting the most green fees over the customer. The $60 fee was overpriced in my opinion.

Good course for first round of golf trip. Clubhouse bathroom needs maintenance and cleaning.

Arrived about 45 minutes prior to tee time we were greeted by the cart barn and bag drop individual who spent 10 minutes giving us the lay of the land and overview, this gentleman was the friendliest individual I’ve met since arriving at various courses in Florida a real gentleman and asset to Remington. The pro-shop and bartender were equally friendly and helpful. We teed off as a twosome and played front in 90 minutes the back a little slower. The fairways need water otherwise they were reasonably okay some water would make them very good, greens were very good. Sand traps were a disaster no rakes so everyone’s footprints in raked.

All in all I liked the layout but the clubhouse was in a little need of TLC.

Booked a solo tee time on golf now. Drove 45 minutes in traffic only for them to tell me there’s a tournament going on. Lady behind the counter was nice and said I could just play in the back. A random guy drinking a pitcher of been that’s acting like he owns the place is telling me I cannot go out in front of the group nor can I get lay the back unless I wait and join a group when no one is on the back 9. Absolutely ridiculous if I would’ve known I would’ve played elsewhere PUT INFORMATION OUT SO YOU DON’T WASTE PEOPLES TIME!!!!!!

Great course, fun to play. Some long holes…some water. Overall great value!

I couldn't have planned my first round of golf better. This was a lovely course. We got a little jammed up coming around the back 9 but other than that I had zero problems with anything. Would absolutely play it again.

Greens are fairly fast but some need TLC in spots. Tee boxes okay and fairways too but tight lies. Back nine a little slow but round pace of 4:30.

It just didn't feel right. The course is not maintained. Carts required updating/mntce. Dry, poorly irrigated. Traps not maintained. I am a 4 HC and not sure I would play again at any price. Long course. No reason a Par 3 coundnt be under 150 yds. It could be so much better with a little TLC.
