Not a lot of trees. Wide open, good for spray type hitters. 5 tees. Pick your poison, lol

The course was very different from the front to back nines. Front appeared to be dry, greens brown and very fast. Tight lies even on the fairways. Balls often ran out like they were on concrete until they found one of the numerous hazards.

Back nine had much more green and rolled truer. We all played much better on the back nine.

There were no rakes for any of the sand traps. This made for some difficult lies.

Overall a fun experience that could be enhanced with some strategic maintenance.

This is a course that feels like it needs some love to bring it back to its past glory. There are some really nice holes but also some holes with uprooted trees on the side and cut up tree limbs just off the fairway. We were paired with a nice couple that snowbirds between Toronto and Florida so we enjoyed ourselves, but just wish the course would have been taken care of a little better.

The staff was friendly, fairways were in pretty good shape for February and the greens were in good condition. Great course for the money.

2nd time played this winter….always a pleasure, nice layout, flows throughout… greens good and not too fast…. Great bang for the buck.

Very friendly pro shop attendant however all else failed. No carts ….starter making everyone stand at the edge of the cart shack to wait for a cart. We told him we will just wait 40’ away while we chip and putt. Then he tells us if we dont wait in line by standing in the parking lot, we will miss getting a cart. Course was backed up 45 min. First hole had 9 carts waiting. Went back to the pro shop and asked for our money back. Pro shop staff were very apologetic and gladly refunded our green fees. Drove down the road and luckily landed a tee time at a much better option.

From start to finish the experience was great. Friendly staff in pro shop, lounge and the starter all easy to talk to and friendly.

I was so happy to read the reviews this past week before I came back down from Michigan that Remington was getting better. I used to play this course back when they did the all you can play with breakfast, hot dog at every turn, soda at every turn, lunch between rounds all for like $40. Course was always busy, but also in great condition. They used to play a player aptitude tourney here quite often and it was a very nice course to do it at. Over the last ten years course crashed and conditions were so bad I stopped playing here for quite a few years. However, today we tried it out, hopeful but not very hopeful. Pleasantly over joyed. Greens were it AMAZING conditions from where they were two years ago. Still a couple spots, but they show signs of immediate work being done on them. Bunkers and the old bunkers from the layout could use a major rehab. For example number 12, the front bunker is not really a bunker anymore. That made that hole. But other than tee box issues here and there, I was amazed at the progress and will come back. KEEP IT UP! This was a very fun and great condition golf course. It CAN get there again.

We felt like we practically had the course to ourselves. It was fun and in good condition. Friendly staff.
