Located just 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and only 20 minutes from Disney World, Remington Golf Club in Kissimmee, Florida features a contemporary design that is fair -- and challenging. Designed by Clifton, Ezel & Clifton and opened in May 1996, the course features four par 5s and five sets of tees, as well as abundant water and generous landing areas. Meticulous course conditioning includes walk-mown greens, and all of this translates to some of the most superior playing conditions in the Orlando area. Remington Golf Club's 6,000-square-foot clubhouse is a popular event host.

The young Pro Shop employee

Don’t book here as a single player! They will force you to sit with someone you may not be comfortable with or pay $25 to ride in your own cart. There was threesome playing behind us and a single rider in that group and he did not charge him an additional $25 to ride by himself. This should be addressed because it’s not right. Single players beware!

Bad news.

Course was very dried out. The starter said they stopped watering about 2 weeks ago don't know why. But worst of all and most frustrating 6 hour plus round ranger just driving around doing nothing.Over priced terrible experience.

Decent

Staff was great. Conditioning was ok. Pace of play was horrible for a weekday. 3:15 for 9 holes.

Not a bad course

Fair course overall. Not in the best shape but it was challenging. Very slow pace of play though. Took 2 and a half hours to finish 9.

Epic failure

Very friendly gentleman working in the pro shop. That is where everything ended due to no carts, people lined up waiting for the carts and the first tee having about 8 to 10 carts waiting to tee off. Add to that about a 45 minute delay in teetime. Very poorly organized. We ended up cancelling our teetime and going down the road to play. Not recommended

Help

Made a TeeTime the night before for one.

Received confirmation for a 10:08 time.

Arrived. One man taking payt. Restaurant person a no show.

Starter showed my name but others in my foursome numbered four. Starter couldn’t explain it. Back to the staff guy and he couldn’t explain it and neither seemed terribly concerned. Pace of starting was slowed by 20+ mins anyway.

Based on the circumstances I asked and received a refund.

Feel sorry for the lack of staff. Bldg conditions were needed.

Amenities

Normally after a round we would stop for a drink and a bite to eat. But with a limiting menu we only stayed for a drink. We will be going again today with friends but will lunch at Kissimmee Bay Golf course.

Very good layout; not so good course maintenance

The fairways' grass was very tight to the ground; it was nearly impossible to play a good wedge game. The tee boxes ground was hard; occasionally unable to put a tee in the ground. The putting surface was slow as though they weren't cut or pressed. Sand-traps were more like dirt-traps; they were poorly maintained, didn't appear it contained snad but common dirt, and none of the traps had rakes.

Pricy

Nice course but felt it was a lilting high in price. Course was in good shape but fit the $$ tee boxes and greens could have in better condition.
