Remington Golf Club

A rather long course but in decent shape for this time of year. Good greens with some pretty good plateaus to putt to. Play was a little slow but not ridiculous. The main problem with this course is a shortage of carts. Generally have to wait for one but it did not delay our tee time much. The cart coordinator for lack of a better term thinks he should be tipped for handing you keys to a cart. That’s all he does. He doesn’t load clubs or doesn’t even clean them that well but he called our group cheap for not tipping him. So I gave him a buck to stop his whining. Not very professional.

Fun track to play, great people, good bang for your buck.

Hard to believe the owners would let the course deteriorate like this. Shabby fairways, slow greens with weeds, dirt in the sand traps, garbage overflowing, bathroom filthy. Find somewhere else.

Pace was horrible. No ranger and no concern by staff in clubhouse when I asked if they thought 2’ 40” was OK for the front. They said if it’s Fri or Sat, that is normal.

The course design is beautiful, the greens were in mint condition at the exception of 2-3 greens which is nothing. This was our 11th game and it was the one with the nicest greens. The pace was very slow that day, it took 5 hours and 15 min to play, not fun. But it does not prevent us from booking again for next Friday March 3rd.

Course was in good shape, greens were good, staff friendly. BUT pace of play was pathetic. 5 and a half hours for a round that should have been completed in 4.. deliberately overbooked. Won’t mention being a little pricey for conditions because slow play so overwhelmed everything.

I made a tee time on golf now as I always do. It was registered and a confirmation was sent to my email. So far so good. My time was 0648, which was the second time of the day. I paid my 65 dollars and the pro shop attendant gave no indication that there was any problem. I went to the first tee and that’s when I learned that I had no actual tee time. It was foursomes.for the foreseeable future. I went to the pro shop attendant and he was completely unconcerned. He suggested I “hang around “ and “something might open up “. I took the initiative and just skipped the first hole and started on two as a single. The course is well designed with lots of water hazards. It is in reasonably good condition. Greens are a bit slow. I played in 2 hours which was great. Had I not jumped to number two I might still be waiting. I would not risk making a golf now tee time in the future. Call them directly and get the name of whoever makes your tee time. Otherwise you may also end up with a phantom tee time.

This course is in very poor shape and apparently the owner doesn't care. There is no sand in the traps, only dirt. The fairways are dried out. The greens are ok but slow. The pace of play is terrible because they let out too many players per hour. The bathroom is outdated and dirty and the shower curtain has been broken and laying around for who knows how long. The garbage cans are overflowing. The cart girl doesn't have a clue about what she is doing. Find another place to play.

Good conditions throughout the course , one green with small area of distress. Carts were short but turnover was perfect for our tee time. Front nine less difficult than back. Not sure if this was the reason for pace issues starting after tee shot on ten. 2 hours front , almost 3 on the back !! . Still we will be back.

Fairways were hard as a rock, greens were tough to read. Beautiful course , very disappointed with the Pro Shop. The gentleman cleaning carts was very nice, an made sure we hade everything we needed.The gentleman in the Pro-shop was in a hurry for us to pay an get out so he could leave.

Would play it more, if special offers under 40 dollars.

They double booked teetimes wanted me to wait an hour and play in a fivesome place is a joke
