Great track. Lot of wet spots left behind from Ian. No fault of this facility..

Shall play again…

The course is always one of my favorites. Although we weren’t able to play the international because a qualifier tournament, the National course was in great shape. There was a ton of rain the week before and other than a few wet spots the course was awesome.

Fantastic course and great shape. It has rained for days and the night before rained for about 10 hours straight. Only 2 holes were cart path only minimal flooding so the course drained well. Fairly friendly layout greens were in good shape and staff was friendly. Great food afterwards as well.

I travel to play this course. Great facilities, pace was good and course was in great condition considering all the rain.

I have heard all about Champions Gate and have always wanted to play. In the winter time it is almost impossible to get a tee time and the price is almost double what I paid during the summer. The course has a very traditional layout. The greens were very good but not that fast. The fairways were very nice. Many of the bunkers, especially the waste bunkers were filled with either mud or water or both. For the price in the summer, I would say $105 is too much compared to other courses in the area.

Starter told us the course condition was a 12. More like a 6, lots of soggy spots. However greens and tees were excellent. Played the National, challenging but not ridiculous

It’s a been a while since I was here last…the course is in terrific shape…fast greens and rolls true ..

The national course is is great condition. Only the 9th hole was cart path only due to the recent heavy rains. No standing water, bunkers all raked, fairways allowed tee shots to roll, and the greens were excellent. There is some heavy rough in some spots and it’s easy to lose your ball, but these areas are typically well off the fairways. The pace of play could have and should have been quicker, we were stuck behind a slow twosome. But given the outstanding course conditions, I can deal with the 4:45 round

Overall this course is in great shape, especially for this time of year. Paid $99 to play which is a little high for the summer, but well worth it. Outside staff was very friendly and helpful and so was the inside staff. I would highly recommend.

The course was in great condition. We played a number of courses and this was in far the best condition. I will visit again.

Very nice course. If I am paying 100.00 to play a course this course would not be my choice. It’s a good value at 50-60.

Booked solo for 10:50am, 3 days prior. Upon arrival was informed I could play solo… mid-Tuesday, August, central FL weather. A trifecta that aligns for? Needed it, as prior to Monday hadn’t played in ~2 years. Old injury + new clubs.

Played blue tees, course was challenging… but more engaging than frustrating. Consistent optionality… create/ challenge hole, or take safety w/ open areas and good misses. Equal parts left, right, tight and long. Solo, in practice mode… caught spots to take both attack and defense shots. Course sets up player choice extremely well. I’d play it differently multiple times… given context.

Staff was elite. Valet, clubhouse, starter, maintenance, cart barn. Incredibly professional and kind/ engaging. No qualms w/ course conditions… tee to green in great shape, very well detailed/ manicured. Pine straw can be a pain but only found it where it’s to be. Opinions… bunkers a bit hard or inconsistent, and greens rolled true… but seemed slow. Chalking both up to August weather, intent (greens) and best efforts (bunkers).

After 18 I had the option to re-rack for half price, no rain check. Took them up on it and got thru 7 before FL skies “did their dance.” Enjoyed an impatient hour in shelter w/ 3 Brits on holiday. Got in 3 more, then the bottom fell out. Brought in last cart… as professional as 7 hours prior.

Lots of golf to explore in Orlando, but I’ll be back here over 8-9 previously played tracks.

Played National. Really appreciate how you can choose different levels of difficulty based on the tee. Friendly staff, course in great shape. Would play again

My buddy and I played nine holes on a very hot day and then enjoyed a little 19th hole with Gavin the bartender.A nice layout that is not too punishing.
