The National course is a classic American-style layout that rolls through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands. Unique bunkering, tree-lined fairways and intriguing green designs define shot making challenges. In particular, golfers are apt to remember the National for its testing par 3 holes and for the double green shared by holes 4 & 16.

very good course. Fairway and green in excellent condition. Course a little bit narrow unless you drive straight. I highly recommend this course if you are in Orlando.

Great Golf at ChampionsGate
Teed off at around 11am course is in great condition, the first hole seems quite easy for stoke index 1 but don’t let that fool you, some challenging holes to follow.
We have played Jack Nicholas courses in England, Europe and the USA and my husband is convinced that he must have had shares in a sand company as there are always a lot of bunkers! This course is no exception.but still very enjoyable. The 18th is very challenging indeed water to the left bunkers on the right with a big tree just off the centre to the right, placing your ball is the best option but hayho you go for it lol. A Canadian Review of The National
First time playing this course, staff was friendly and the course especially the greens are in GREAT shape!
As a single golfer, I caught up to a foursome on the 16th hole. With a marshal sitting in the cart watching the foursome hack up the hole. The marshal seeing that I was a single, have the foursome wave me through.
Not a chance!! It took me over an HOUR to play the last three holes!! What is the sense of having marshals when they don't take control of the situation??
Overall, a very good experience and I will return from Canada to play this course again!!!

Poor Management
I had to play behind a six some? What’s up with that? On a championship course? No rangers! No one to supervise play!

Solid top course.
Course conditions were great with the exception of a few wet waste areas, but the free drops easily solved that. Would definitely return here. Can certainly see why this is one of the top courses in the Orlando area.

Poor staff
I would never guess they would allow six players to play together! No ranger on the course? What’s up with that? Had to buy a drink from the cart girl while waiting and to add insult to injury it was $20! See ya later! Much later!

A round with my son
We treated ourselves to a round as we had not planned on it. Club hire was exceptional, Calloway rogues and Epic driver. Course very good nick, friendly people. We were teamed up with a member which came as a surprise and although he was ok it did detract from some special time with my son. I think it would be fairer to mention this ahead of booking as we may have played somewhere else if we’d known.

The course is just flat including the greens, A couple possible difficult holes

Overall great round!
I have played the course for a few years. It doesn't disappoint. The course is in very good condition now and the greens are rolling pretty good even with signs of aeration perhaps a few weeks ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
